Hi Paul, yet again another great tutorial! Quick question, can you tell me what would be the disadvantage "the con" if when adding products in Woocommerce I ticked both the Parent Category and the Child Category for a product. How would this effect the filtering? Also if both are ticked does this impact what is displayed when you select "Product Terms" in the dynamic options?

    Hi Paul ,
Thanks for all your great tutorials, they are much needed and appreciated
I have a silly question as I'm confused.
I'm trying to set up a marketplace.....products, services, travel, & listings.
Do i set up a separate landing home page for each of the main categories above and also a separate shop and archive pages for each category above?
my main home page would then list the main categories and then take them to a landing page where they would be able to choose what they would like.
    Hope that makes sense:)
thanks for any help or pointers

Do you know how I can move this banner down beneath the main menu in the header, so I can see the whole banner?

So at min 13:48 you have the subcategories on top and under them you have the products of the certain category. I instead have on top the subcategories and under them the same again, although I used the widget products. Could you help me please?

A full tutorial would be good. I followed this one and set up the categories and sub-categories. It all worked fine, but at first I could not edit the Products component beneath the sub-categories. Simply re-opening the Elementor editor for that page made it work. Go figure... I'd like to be able to edit it a little more though. It seems that it decides based on some control somewhere to send button-pushing users either to the cart right away or, in other cases, to the detailed product page. I'd like to make the behavior consistent. I'm also puzzling over another issue in which enabling the FEATURE control for a product seems to set the inventory to "out of stock" when there is (and was in the metadata) a clear number of items.

Everything is cool with Crocoblock. In fact I'll be releasing the first of a series of sponsored tutorials for them later this week.
I like to cover tools I think are useful and add value to us as designers and can help us create more unique and personal designs for us or our clients.
