The case restoration work is top-notch, nothing like it on TH-cam. Laser welder?!?! You deserve more views and subscribers. Excellent job!
Thank you very much 😊🙏
Wow you took case polishing to a level I never seen before. Good job.
Thanks 🙏
Masterfully done! Not only its about watch restoration, but also taking care of the original strap which commonly you see getting ditched in restorations. And this guy also makes his OWN circuitry, that's something you don't see every day.
Thank you 🙏
One of the best watch restoration I've seen on TH-cam 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you 😊
IN 1972 I WORKED ON A LONGINES 6512 ULTRA QUARTZ I FOUND THAT VARIATION OF THE BETA 21 TO BE OVERLY COMPLEX , BUT FASCINATING .
Amazing and Extraordinary Restoration ! 👋👋👋👋👋
Thank you 🙏
I like listening to a watch maker talk about what’s going on
Thanks 🙏 Will think about adding voice.
Dent in case...starts up the LASER WELDER!😲
A true craftsman!
Thank you 🙏
What a remarkable restoration! We need a BTS video on that beta 21 module! Congrats for another amazing video!
Thank you 🙏
Can't say which was best, the resto, the equipment or the module. They were all great thanks!
Thank you 😊
i love the clean and organized work bench.
Thanks Tan 🙏
Blimey, not only is your case restoration top notch but now we find out you also got your own in house module!
One day I'll send you my dad's omega constellation TV case and bracelet to be restored. No idea on the movement as he used it to go swimming with a cracked acrylic 😡. Judging by the dial that went from silver to green, the movement must be full of rust.
Thank you for your long comment 😊 You’re always welcome!
BEAUTIFUL WORK BY THE WAY ...... I USED TO SEE MANY BETA 21'S IN THE MID TO LATE 1970'S .
amazing ele parts and polish work.
Thank you 😊
I love your healthy obsession with sanders and grinders! 😍👍👍
Thanks 🙏
Beautiful watch, excellent case renovation. I would prefer to use plastic tweezers to install the new battery to avoid degradation. Great job. Subscribed.
Thank you 🙏 Of course Plastic Tweezers would do it too.
A master at work. You must have great sight, steady hands and nerves of steel. Best wishes from Limerick Eire.
Thank you 🙏
This was a pleasure to watch, thank you
Thanks 🙏
Beautiful..and wonderful
Thanks 🙏
Best of the best!

Thank you 🙏
Perfekt!
Danke 🤩
Великолепная работа!
Thanks 😊
Sehr schönes Ergebnis. Wieder einmal eine Super Arbeit! 🙂👍
Danke 🤩
Very nice 😊
Thanks 🙏
Very nice job. I never saw a movement like that.
Thank you 🙏
The grime that got in around the margins of the case back on this watch was serious. Otherwise the case and the crystal seemed to be in fair condition. I have never seen laser welding done before, your use of AA linisher belt was impressive, I have only seen them used by knife grinders. Very interesting to see that lapping process. Most impressive.
Thank you for your comment 🤩🙏
Great job greeting from Panamá 👍
Thank you 🤩🙏
Brilliant channel 👏 😊
Thanks 🙏
Good job!
Thanks!
Fantástico trabajo.
Me recuerda al interior del Pulsar Digital con los números en rojo y que se ponía en hora con un imán.
Seria fantástico verte restaurar uno de esos.
Thank you 🙏 Indeed, the Time Command would be a cool restoration video.
Very good!
I'm from Americana SP Brasil.
Thanks 🙏
The inside looks like soviet space station !! Great video
Thanks 🙏
Fantastica restauración, saludos.
Thank you 🙏
Interesting! I recently held a Omega Megaquartz in my hands with the tonneau shape, just three of those are known to be in private hands :)
Thanks 🙏 Ohh, that’s great!
Nice mechanical job, and cool to have it going again with this funny substitution module! The substitution module includes a potted IC, a 1 kOhms resistor, and a resistive trimpot... for amplitude?! It looks like trying to sustain an oscillation using the 256 Hz tuned motor, good, but never as accurate as the original 8192 Hz quartz!
Awesome!
BTW, can you tell, where the indexing wheel can be sourced? Maybe it's the same as in esa mosaba or bulova?
Mine is almost shot, but I can't find any information.
Thanks 🙏 Parts are unfortunately rare.
Amazing work i also have a similar 21 beta but unfortunately the second hands doesn't move. It buzz and hums just no movement any thoughts?? Would be much appreciated
Just drop me an email or use the contact form on my website Vintwatches.com I guess, your watch needs a service.
Top notch case work, restoring all those vices and making the lapping machines has really payed off. Can the beta-21 movement not be disassembled, I find it odd the movement was not torn apart and cleaned in the traditional manner.
Thanks 🙏 I wanted to show that my module could bring a beta 21 to run, without doing a lot of afford.
Gracias
Thanks 😊
excellent work. do you service the movements? or do you have someone else do them?
Thanks 🙏 Of course I’m servicing the watches.
Amazing restoration!!! What is your good name, Sir, and which country do you belong to?
That's an excellent workshop you have with all the equipment needed to turn a damaged watch to a real beauty.
So good👍👍👍👏👏👏🇧🇷
Thank you 🙏
WOW!!!!
Thanks 🙏
yeeessss goooood
Thanks 🙏
Luxury👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks 😊
I like your videos. They are very inspiring. I have a few questions, if you don't mind. 1. What did you use argon for when soldering steel? I thought it was used for soldering titanium. 2. What grade of steel do you use for soldering, 316l or another? 3. Do you encounter such phenomena as pores or cloudy spots after soldering and how do you deal with it? 4. Where did you get the three-axis holder?) I have a similar one, but only in the horizontal plane and this limits my work.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards, Pavel from Moscow
Dear Pavel, thank you for your comment. I use Argon 4,6 and 5,0 for welding. The steel I use depends on the brand I‘m working on, Omega 316l steel. Pores are always a trouble, clean surfaces many layers and right flow and setting of argon could give you a great result. I’m using many holders from former Schmitz Frères Case Manufacturing, those industry holders can’t be purchased, took me many years to find my tools. Best regards from Germany Daniel
Thanks Daniel. I will experiment with argon, I hope it will help to solve the problems of pores. I have already realized that this is a specific holder and it is a great success to find it - I will try to find it :) Good luck to you. And we are waiting for new videos. ;) sincerely, Pavel
WHAT TYPE OF I.C. ARE YOU USING IN YOUR CIRCUIT IS IT A 3490 ISOLINEAR CHIPSET ?
I think it is better to make sure it runs first!! BUT beautiful job!
Did you make that Beta21 module, or is it a new old stock????
Thanks 🙏 It makes no difference to do the movement before or after the case restoration. The module is a in House module, made by a highly skilled micro Ingenieur.
@@Vintwatches Many of these mechanical electric watches no longer have parts. I have some with no parts available.
This chip you made by yourself?
Correct, my colleague, a micro Ingenieur did the chip by himself.
Was kostet das Modul?
😮
É um belo relógio show 👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱
Thanks 🙏
Not sure how much you knocked off the collector value by refinishing the case, but quite a lot I believe. The job was nicely done, but not needed in my opponion as the case was barely worn. Why didn't you clean the movement? Just oiling wouldn't last long.
The collecting value of a non repairable, not working watch? I didn’t clean the movement, true, wanted to show the strength of my module, a movement could be bring back to life with a very little afford.
for everything to be perfect, the belt had to be changed
True, but those straps from the 1970s are not available anymore, it’s not easy or nearly impossible to change it.
Tres

I admire the way you work, but would not have you refinish any of my watches as I like them the way they are: warts and all 🤪. Also, I am more interested in the technical aspects of the movements, so there is not much for me here. Still, I wish you good luck and many subscribers.
Thanks 🙏
Pleasure to watch, just missing some spoken words, silent movies are of the past.
Thanks 🙏 Will think about adding voice.
The most malicious case restoration i have seen.
Thank you 🙏
This chip you made by yourself?
Correct, my colleague, a micro Ingenieur did the chip by himself.
@@Vintwatches very nice :)
