We work on a lot of older livestock and horse LQ trailers in Iowa. The older ones are always fun to figure out before they had standards. Always great videos, you have been a great help on knowledge we used for our business!
My favorite tool for checking trailer wires is a power probe.
Our 2003 Newmar goes from a 7 way at the RV to a 6 way at the car with the center pin in the 6 way being an aux 12v source for a battery charger to keep the car battery charged up. I like your idea of using the wago wire nuts to quickly figure out which wire goes where.
First time commenting. I have watched many of your videos and I gain a significant amount of knowledge and want to thank you. As a child I would have to be driven to the library, search the subject card catalog then go tot the title card catalog then to the bookshelf where I would find the book has been taken out by someone else. If I was lucky the book was there but then had to spend hours reading the book to find the information needed and often to understand electronics would need a dictionary and an electronic reference book to aid in my research. Praise be the internet!! and you who possesses the necessary desires and motivation to place your trade knowledge for all to obtain. I can fix a car and build a house all learned by watching my father and uncles with only some of the explanations that you provide. I understand your style and it's your channel (business) and I am fine with your approach and methods which provide me memories of my youth. The youth around you will (If they do not already) appreciate you and your knowledge as it is handed to another generation.... as well as those of us on the internet. Well done!
Thank you for that kind comment. Yes, I do remember the card catalog and the Dewey Decimal System lol. I used to hang out in the Encyclopedia Britannica and play Russian roulette with the books LOL I would just randomly open up an encyclopedia and just start reading something. Good days.
I have a question - I have a2003BT cruiser Conquest - why is it that my dining slide only extends and retracts when my onboard generator is on. All fuses ate good / all lights work all 110 outlets work/ AC works / water pump ok/ fridge works/furnace and water heater are ok. Is my batteries the issue? Any help is appreciated.
