My sister was in Nam, but was not properly recognized until she took our parents on an Honor flight, and she thanked her time in service also. I retired from the AF after 24 years and enlisted to avoid the Army and Nam. I figured one family member in Nam was enough.

No, I'm not crying. You're crying😭😭
The father got out of his wheelchair for his son and saluting him, these make me cry 😭. Wish the best to all heroes and families, must be tough with the close ones we love who's far away fighting for us. Love you armies your my heroes 🫡🥰💪🏽😊
Thank you for your service
My dad was deployed several times when I was a kid. Things aren’t like when you’re an adult and sometimes days run together. Every day you wake up thinking about your dad being away. It’s hard to control yourself as a kid when the day comes that you finally get to see your dad again.

I still remember coming home from Vietnam, flying into San Francisco and being spit on. I remember the shouts and the names I was called. I didn't want to go to that godforsaken place, but what was almost as bad was my homecoming. Thank you america.
My sister was in Nam, but was not properly recognized until she took our parents on an Honor flight, and she thanked her time in service also. I retired from the AF after 24 years and enlisted to avoid the Army and Nam. I figured one family member in Nam was enough.
Why did they spit on you?
Because I was coming home from where my country sent me.@@FireChicken747
few things make me cry but this video had me in tears as i remember when my dad came back after 1 year and a half😭
My great grandpa survived World War 1 and was totally fine when he came back, but he’s passed now sadly
That’s good to hear 😊 Not that he’s dead though 😂but that he managed to come back unharmed because somethmes it’s worse if he where still alive afterwards then if he would have died because I’ve heard stories of people with family members being at war and coming home severely injured 😢
When I watch people meeting their Soldier friends/parents/partners. I don't cry and I say: “Wow this is heart warming ♥️”
Now, watching a compilation. It feels more different of seeing different people's reactions on how they will react. It just makes me cry of happiness for them. ♥️
I am a viet nam vet and I will never ever get tired of seeing these reunions. It's great!!!!!!!!!!
After 26 years in the Air Force I have had a few of those moments, they are heartwarming.💞
Thank you for your service sir

Most of my family served in the army or the Navy and yeah I’m just happy when I saw this it made me a little bit more happy and made my heart a little bit more warm
That elder and respectable man shows his discipline and training, even in that deteriorating condition, to salute his son. I wish that I could go to him and salute him myself. Hats off.
Today was the day that I reunited with my friend Chelsea after serving 12 years in the United States Air Force she's right next to me and I'm so proud of her and I'm never going to let her go

Rip all the veterans and soldiers who passed
And rest in peace all of the innocent women and children they have killed invading multiple countries 🙏
The surprise photobomb from 5:50 has to be the best “soldier coming home” I’ve ever seen
This is wonderful to see family's reunite. To the men and women thank you for your Service and God bless you all.

My brother is a Marine in Okinawa and I haven’t seen him since December so this is heartwarming but makes me miss him
Watching this made me cry my mum has been gone for a long time and I cannot wait to see her
