It would appear that the prioress has grounds to sue the Bishop to sue for harassment and defamation of character. Just because the Vatican in Rome, Italy, says the Bishop has jurisdiction over the monastery doesn't change the land deeds an other legal documents showing that the property is owned by a non-profit whose board consists of the Nuns.
