I completely understand the glasses thing. I get a lot of compliments when I actually wear mine in public, but I can't stand wearing them. When you don't wear them often, you always notice the rims, and you feel so much less comfortable in them. I've been debating about laser for a while, so I'm really looking forward to seeing your video on that. I've been in contacts for 10 years now and want to actually be able to see things in the morning!
I had lasik surgery in 2003, and unfortunately had to start wearing glasses again in either 2009 or 2010. I don't regret having the surgery and defiantly recommend it.
I had laser eye surgery over 10 years ago and for me personally it was the best decision I made for myself. I found wearing contacts very drying on my eyes. After the surgery my Optometrist advised taking Flax Seed Oil Capsules for a little bit...they're very good for the eyes and sometimes the laser can make your eyes dry...its only a short term issue, but the flax sees oil helps. Be sure to throw away all mascaras that you used prior to surgery and re-sharpen all your eye pencils and give them a wipe with some medical grade alcohol to disinfect them. That is the best advise I'd like to share with you.
Lululemon is actually a Canadian company - and it is more expensive in Canada than it is in the United states. Reason for this actually makes a lot of sense. Minimum wage in America is significantly lower than it is in Canada and therefore the price of products and services are also significantly cheaper. You guys (in the UK) make an even higher minimum wage than we do in Canada, and therefore your goods are, again, more expensive. In general, the gap between minimum wage and the price of goods is pretty well equal for citizens within their own countries.
Free People is my absolute FAVORITE store ever. And you can find lots of good items from the sale section, it just depends on the timing of your shopping visit. a lot of the times I find pieces that I've been eyeing that were full price and then have gone on sale. You just need to keep your eye out! also it really helps to go look online because all of their sales pieces will be right in front of you!
It's such a shame people don't think before they tweet/post to people "I hate this/your hair/your bag/your taste." It's just so .... unnecessary! FWIW, I didn't see the Burberry sunglasses, but I think the Forever21's look lovely on you xx

What you call tassels, we in the US call fringe. I think of a tassel like a bunch of fringes gathered together, like a ponytail. I think you look great in your glasses, they're very chic and flattering.
Exactly! Though fringe sounds so much nicer than bangs (and more descriptive!) so many Yanks have borrowed that word, as well as baby " bump" from the Brits!
I (American) think of the side swept bangs as fringe, and the across your forehead bangs as bangs. And I agree with the fringe vs tassels. So interesting how words mean so many different things across the world. (:

I'm normally not that bothered on clothes hauls because people just hold them up and I have no idea what they look like on, but videos which show you wearing them are so much better. As a child (what am I saying?...into my teens🙊) every time my parents took me into a tack shop/feed store to get whatever we happened to need for our horses (they KNEW I would be upset if I didn't get to tag along) I'd run over to the saddles & bridles...& just DREAM of all the different styles my pony would look best "wearing"...(guess you could say it was my OOTD for Sugarfoot)... I am a california girl living in Berlin, Germany so I totally understand the hardships of stuff being more expensive in Europe than America...just an FYI...any pants you buy from lulu lemon can be altered for free :) I am 5'1 and even their yoga pants in "short" are too long for me but I got mine altered to my height for free from the lulu lemon shop...so next time you purchase you can ask for alterations..ALSO I totally think you can take your lulu lemon pants to the UK store and ask them to alter there even if you purchase online or in the US. Hope that helps! :) xx
be careful after your laser surgery. bright, flashing lights and smoke can really irritate your eyes. and for the festival, take your BEST PAIR OF SUNGLASSES because your (new) eyes will appreciate it. i tried to get by with crappy sunglasses after my surgery and it was a really terrible decision. hope your surgery is a super success!
Hi Fluer! I love your videos! So excited for you to go to Coachella. it's such a fun experience. Here are a few recommendations on what to take (and what not to take): 1. Tons of sunscreen with high SPF (you're going to be out in the sun ALL day and you'll probably get sweaty because of the heat--so take your sunscreen) 2. Baby wipes. Tons of dirt gets kicked up in the air because of all the people walking on the ground, so you'll be dirty. Plus, it gets windy in the desert so you might have sand/dirt raining down on you. 3. Do not take anything nice! Those purses/handbags are nice, but you don't want to risk losing them or having them get ruined. I also suggest you avoid taking your nice sunglasses, but take a cheap alternative instead. Make sure they have UVB/UVA protection. In fact, you might want to take 2 pairs (in case you lose 1 pair). 4. Take a cross/body bag. It's light, and it'll be close to your person (you don't want anybody snagging your stuff). 5. Use heat resistant makeup. I say you forgo the foundation, and use powder instead. Use a lipstain instead of lipstick, Oh and take lip balm/chapstick. It's hot and windy in the desert. My lips get really dry so I suggest you take something in stick form that also has a good SPF in it (sun-burned lips are NOT fun) That's all I can think of for now. Have fun and make sure to vlog some of it for us!!!

***** I've worn glasses my entire life (I sometimes wear contacts, too) and while I love my glasses, the worst part about them I find is that you don't have any peripheral vision! You have built in blind spots with the frames themselves, and then of course past the frames it's just your normal vision (which, mine is TERRIBLE). It makes driving and crossing the street a bit scary sometimes! And you have to turn all the way round to look at people/things!
Me too!! I always end up bending the wires that hold the nose pads inwards as no matter what they always slide down my nose!! Then they leave bright red indentations on the sides of my nose lol

Hi fleur I had my eyes lasered last year. Just a heads up they said not to wear ANY makeup a week before getting it done! I think it's to prevent any bacteria in the eye! Xx
Went through a eye laser treatment in November last year and I can tell you, it's the best decision so far in life (I think). I have no problem with my sight, yet.. It hurts like hell the first days, but it's worth it :) Good luck!

Good luck with the laser surgery, I got my eyes done years ago and I've never looked back (pun not intended). If I were to give 1 piece of advice it would be to make sure when you get home you have a room that is pitch black. I got mine done in summer and all my curtains are cream so all the light streaming through was a nightmare...also couldn't sleep it off as it was the middle of the day.
I love the sunglasses! I don't know the pair you referred too, but if they look something like the forever21 pair you bought I say go for it! I'd done it!

I'm recovering from surgery but I ordered a set of the lulu lemon tank and pant to work out in when the doc give the all clear. Last year I dropped as much sugar from my diet as possible and I lost 30 pounds! Sugar is liquid poison in my eyes.
Not sure if they do it in the U.S./U.K., but Lululemon here in Canada does alteration for free. I'm 5'3 and I always get my Lulu pants hemmed at the store. It usually takes just about a few days :) P.S. totally getting the Rebecca Minkoff purse for this summer! So cute!
Can you PLEASE do a handbag collection video? I completely agree with you that Rebecca Minkoff bags are one of the best quality bags with a lower price point. I have the mini-MAC which I love and am looking to purchase a new one and am very interested to hear your opinion on which one you absolutely recommend.

Hi fleur I had my eyes lasered last year. Just a heads up they said not to wear ANY makeup a week before getting it done! I think it's to prevent any bacteria in the eye! Xx

Went through a eye laser treatment in November last year and I can tell you, it's the best decision so far in life (I think). I have no problem with my sight, yet.. It hurts like hell the first days, but it's worth it :) Good luck!

Good luck with the laser surgery, I got my eyes done years ago and I've never looked back (pun not intended). If I were to give 1 piece of advice it would be to make sure when you get home you have a room that is pitch black. I got mine done in summer and all my curtains are cream so all the light streaming through was a nightmare...also couldn't sleep it off as it was the middle of the day.

Last year I dropped as much sugar from my diet as possible and I lost 30 pounds! Sugar is liquid poison in my eyes.

Not sure if they do it in the U.S./U.K., but Lululemon here in Canada does alteration for free. I'm 5'3 and I always get my Lulu pants hemmed at the store. It usually takes just about a few days :)
