You guys keep talking about the laugh track, but Friends was filmed in front of a live audience. There are behind the scenes from the DVDs that show the audience laughing. Lisa Kudrow has also talked about having trouble with the timing with the laughter of the audience, paraphrasing I don't remember her exact remarks but she was referring to the laughter of the audience. I've never thought about it once since most sitcom comedies were filmed in front of live audiences. You can usually notice when this happens because when the actors say something funny they have to wait for the laughter of the audience. Laugh tracks are just put in after the filming happens in the editing.
I commented several times about it not being a laugh track. I know their generation can't be so slow. All they had to do was Google it. I get their young, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to do a quick search.
It was DEFINITELY a reference to “hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil”, because all three of them did it, and the quote itself is usually portrayed with monkeys lol
they're still on the young side of the spectrum so I give them a pass when it comes to some references this show makes regarding pop culture, this show ran from 1994-2004 and they reference a decent amount of stuff from the 70s 80s and 90s lol but yeah I thought everybody knew who joseph stalin was lol
But this isn't pop culture... Stalin is a historical figure. It's not like a celebrity, trend, or fashion... It's supposed to be known (at least being familiar with the name)
i think marcel is illegal but barely anyone monitors or knows that law. the woman from school probably has the only job where they know that law and do anything about it.

8:45 He's probably not concerned that average everyday people are aware of that law.

Appreciate you understanding. Some just call us slow or dumb but we're both born in 93 so some jokes we miss
@WILBURNMOVIEREACTIONS y'all are anything but slow and dumb, keep up the great work! 🙏 Can't wait for y'all's next friends reaction! 😊
If you watch other Friends reactions...sadly the gap in historical knowledge there is all-too-common...

@@miraculous-tales maybe my comment wasn't clear enough, I gave them a pass on pop culture but was surprised they didn't know who Joseph Stalin was
