I loved these! I never owned one new as a kid, but I had several from garage sales! My favorites were the elves, especially the elves from the beginning of the first movie in golden armor.
I never owned any LOTR figures back when those movies were goin' on. I wish I did. I have some now, (thanks to my local comic shops) and I love them. they ain't perfect. but they are still awesome. I can't wait until the new Diamond Select figures come out. They look pretty cool as well. Also, I'll have to find a Tree Beard as well. I saw it in a video recently and was very surprised when hos mouth moved. He also brings me much nostalgia, because I remember a friend of mine had him.

I managed to snag the Complete Fellowship of the Ring set, then I managed to add a few more, Faramir, Galadriel, Arwen, Gandolf the White that I actually use as Merlin, Eowen, added Tauriel later, and I ran into an animated Galadriel, and I also got a Coronation 4 pack. I wanted a bunch of Orcs and Uruk's but they didn't stick around long enough to get any. I have an Earth display for Heroes and Villains from the Past and Future that I call Earth Between. Used to start with Conan, I have a Caveman now, I call him Ator. Not his name. It starts at Ator and goes to Kamandi. I was buying everything back then, I've kind of slowed down.
Love your collection, I do hate the sticky grime residue on some of them, it actually comes on some figures brand new unopened, idk why, bc I have dupes of certain figures and some are sticky and some aren't but I recommend rubbing alcohol to wash it away
i m a fan of Tolkien but usually I don't buy toys , this video is useful for my future job of shop assistant in supermarket in Italy and in usa , when I will go in America
As far as Pippin goes, I really recommend the Gondor armor Pippin. I just got him a few days ago, and I was very satisfied! And I have to ask, which character is your favorite? My personal favorite is Aragorn, but with LOTR, everyone's favorite is different!
Im trying to figure out the difference between the round and square packaging for these Toy Biz figures, maybe you can help. Are they different scale or just released at different times and part of the same line?
Even when type is did struggle with the likeness earlier they still had a lot of accessories which is good but you are wrong Isildur likeness it's actually good, amits Aragorn they struggled with
In regards to the Theoden figure, was it an original release figure (2002) or a Legacy figure (2004, smaller packaging)? I remember mine looked a lot more like Bernard Hill. Sadly, the quality of figures released diminished over time.
I just bought an entire collection of Lord of the Rings action figures for $5,800 AUD. Each figure costs about $24.71 AUD. Would you consider that a bad decision on my part?
Does the collection include rare ones? Like Gondorian Swordsman or Orc lieutenant? Or maybe Rider set arwen and frodo with asfaloth in Red deluxe rider pack. Those are some of the rare ones including Gimli half moon box two towers where only 500 were said to have been released.
I felt the movies are fine, not my thing. However I really liked the toys for the accessories. Striders cape, torch and sword are amazing. Loved the Value City shoutout! Got a lot of Star Wars beasts from there.

Good little collection but stop worrying about what the bloody cameras focusing on that was annoying and so was your attempt at British accents but keep the Toybiz stuff up
