- NYPD revealed that a police officer accidentally fired his handgun during the raid on Columbia University's Hamilton Hall. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Meanwhile, NYPD cops took down the latest campus tent city at New York University. Most of the pro-Palestinian protesters at NYU left voluntarily. Thirteen others were arrested. It comes as Columbia University students continued their protests outside the home of the embattled college president.

The US politicians called the police so they were the ones who escalated. The protesters were just in tents initially. Literally go look and see all mainstream media is wording even the very violent or unnecessarily aggressive crackdowns on protests where all they did was refuse to go, they wanted there right to protest and look/pay attention to all the wording of the coverage, plus how they avoid showing injuries that protesters have gotten from extreme crackdowns. (Plus they keep using the example and excuse that it’s not peaceful but only show a few people being disorderly/acting out, but then word it as it’s justified for the response to be FULL FORCE on EVERYONE without care or concern.)
