RIP Stu. Terrible circumstance for a great show. Thank you. My very FAVORITE band. “Tell your friends that you love them. We’re called Bane.” Fucking awesome.
when i saw bane played another show i already knew i was gonna tear up a little but holy shit man. i remember one of the main reasons i was so stoked about youtube in 2006 is because i couldn't believe i could use it to watch local shows from around the country, shows like this being for all to see on youtube nowadays is something truly wonderful, and the songs that were chosen all seem to resonate lyrically more than they ever have before, i only wish 'don't go' was present, it's my favorite bane song to get shitty and teary eyed over my dead friends to.
Every once in a while when life seems too much, or even if you just need the motivation to get through the day, watch this set for perspective. To me, it is that powerful. Music heals. Stu forever 🖤.
James owns tiger records up the street here in Jax. Every time I see him I’m like I can’t believe he’s in bane. Such a rad dude too. Sold (sells?) vegan hotdogs from a cart too.
"Can you please let me talk?" Homie shouldn't have to ask. You're here to see the show, it ain't about you. Anyway. this show was beautiful. Wish I'd been apart of it. Happy mourning, everyone. Stay strong. PS, Calling Hours destroys me, yet picks me up. The lyrics are so realistic. Death is inevitable, but it doesn't mean goodbye forever. Remember that, folks. You will see your friends and family again. Regardless of what you believe in, you'll see them again. PS #2 Who are all the folks who guest vocal on Calling Hours? I gotta check out whatever they do besides this song, ya know?
The first verse (standing in for David Wood from Down to Nothing) is Josh James. He used to sing in Casey Jones and now plays guitar in Stick to Your Guns. Second verse is Pat Flynn from Have Heart, Fiddlehead, Wolf Whistle, Sweet Jesus, Free, etc. The stand-in for Reba Meyers' (Code Orange) part is Zach's fiancée.
Hi dude. Yeah the bassies passed away due to cancer. But the point is that Bane gave their last show in 2016 and all the filmage and videos were putted in a vault just waiting to uploaded... Later that the bassist was diagnosed with cancer so his bandmates started a fund raising campaign and that last show was uploaded and premiered in 2020. That was epic 😥😭. Sadly his health didn't improve and the Bane guys were always always supporting Stu and his family releasing merch to raise money to pay medical bills. In 2021 a show in Boston were made with bands picked by Stu. Sadly he didn't made it and passed way previously that show. So, Bane, cleaned the dust of their shoulders and played again. Just for Stu and for his family. A true homage. I am not crying you are crying 😭
@@bojanstanojlovic5072 sorry, didn't realise the hardcore high council took time out of their busy schedules to post youtube comments. thanks for that.

Saw Bane for the first and only time 20 years ago, and that set rocked.

still one of the worst live vocalists in hardcore
No one asked shut up
dude its a show for their recently deceased friend. maybe save this hot take for another setting.
Gotta love when someone who never contributed anything to hardcore has so much to say.
You clearly do not understand what hardcore is about.
