  • Cheesy Aloo Pulao Recipe
    Description:
    Cheesy Aloo Pulao combines the comforting flavors of spiced rice and potatoes with a gooey layer of melted cheese. This fusion recipe is perfect for cheese lovers and is sure to grab attention for its unique and delicious combination.
    Ingredients:
    1 cup Basmati rice
    2 medium potatoes, diced
    1 onion, thinly sliced
    1 tomato, chopped
    2 green chilies,
    slit1 teaspoon
    cumin seeds1 teaspoon
    ginger-garlic paste1/2 teaspoon
    turmeric powder1 teaspoon
    red chili powder1 teaspoon
    garam masala
    Salt, to taste
    2 cups water
    1 cup grated cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
    Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
    2 tablespoons oil or gheeOptional:
    1 tablespoon butter for extra richness
    Instructions
    :
    Prepare the Rice
    :Rinse the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 15-20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
    Cook the Potatoes:
    Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell disappears.Add diced potatoes and cook until they start to soften.
    Add chopped tomatoes, green chilies, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil starts to separate.
    Add Cheese
    :Once the rice is cooked, sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over the top of the pulao. Cover the pan again and let the cheese melt over low heat. Optionally, you can add a tablespoon of butter for extra richness

    Garnish and Serve
    :Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
