Quick question regarding safety; isn't it a hazard not to have a ground wire seeing that the entire lamp is made of brass?
He has a two pin plug, there is no earth wire, so it probably is a hazard.
Cripes, there are numerous metal and or brass lamps in the states that are 2 wire cords-- look around. It's a lamp, not a plasma cutter.

Nice, but what is the purpose for the lamplight have the valve and gauge? If you had at least a valve used as switches and gauges measured really something, like voltage and current. :(

Killer job! I've never used brass fittings because it's expensive. I've just used black iron piping. Do you recommend gluing the fittings rather than tightening the fittings super tight?
I do not give a brass preferences, It depends on customer order
Yes, because it is not always the same as where we need by twisting, there is danger of damage and the glue dries in 5 seconds after tightening.

Those are not regular pliers.... those are Kimpex. It's an adjustable wrench, smooth jaws, no teeth to mar.

Pipe diameter is 1/2, where it enters the socket is 11/4

All pipes and fittings 1/2", where the bulb socket, there is a transition from 1/2 to 3/4 and then to 1 1/4
What part did you use to hide the lightbulb socket in? I made myself a similar lamp and I'm trying to figure out how to "hide" the socket. Very great lamp btw! You are very talented!

Сколько стоит конструкция?
В районе 60 евро не включая счетчик воды который был найден и отполирован и термометра который был снят из старого бойлера.
Έκανα το ίδιο σήμερα αυτό που δεν Μ αρεσε είναι ότι η λάμπα κρύβει το θεμα τα ρολογια,οπότε αναγκαστικά την γύρισα στο πλάι.

Вместо счётчика лучше бы вольтметр вставил, ещё и подключил.
Очень хорошая идея но так как я сантехник то у меня под рукой только счётчик воды был )
Один поход на радио рынок :-)
Кстати - вольтметр можно подсветить оранжевой лампочкой сверху вниз, что бы казалось, что подсветка от газоразрядной лампочки.
А вобще руки у тебя из нужного места растут.
Кстати - где то видел способ как уменьшить скорость включения лампочки, эмитируя накал (для светодиодной лампы), так вот можно для вольтметра так сделать, что бы при включении стрелка не прыгала, а медленно ползла на нужное значение.
А так же если поставить димер по питанию, то вольтметр станет функционален и по нему можно будет регулировать накал.
Кстати провод можно взять в металлической оплётке, что бы сделать ещё ламповей. Веньтиль можно использовать для димера...

Мне даже очень сильно нравится твои мысли в следующих моих проектах обязательно что-то использую, а насчёт радио рынка немного худо, потому что здесь в Греции я ещё не нашёл что-то чтобы было похоже на радио рынок, то что у нас было когда-то в Советском Союзе (Да и сейчас еще есть)

Parts to make appear costly so end product I imagine is surely costly, but final product pricing is all relative to the outlet in which one sells. Sell it on craigslist and you'll get 60 bucks, sell it at an art show in a ritzy part of town and you'll get 500. Oh or sell it on ebay and get 258! I just looked at ebay.
each product has its own advantages and disadvantages
brass products are very beautiful with its color, but really they are very expensive
iron products are very cheap, but they are not so beautiful as the brass

Чёрный провод не в тему. Вентиль можно было переделать в выключатель. Да и вообще видео не о чём - купил конструктор и собрал из него лампу. Если бы болгаркой и шлифмашинкой сам изготовил детали было бы намного интересней
Посматрите вокруг, почитайте немного комментарии, полистайте по каналу, и поймёте для чего это видео было создано. Это видео было создано для тех кто живёт на этаже не имея болгарок токарных станков и прочего оборудования, и оно нивкоем случае не должно восприниматься как пособие сделать что-то, а как идея которую можно применить в своих проектах, А если вы хотите увидеть как сделать лампу с диммером в запорным клапане, посмотрите другие видео на канале.
И ещё раз вам хочу сказать что все мои видео это не инструкция как сделать что-то! Я просто создаю вещи которые мне нравится они не обязательно должны нравиться вам или кому-то другому.

Возможно, Вы и правы, кому-то интересно смотреть как из полуготового конструктора собрать интересное изделие. Но всё равно провод в такой конструкции выбран (на мой взгляд) неудачно - можно было его покрасить, что ли. Ну и вентиль переделать под выключатель, насколько я понимаю, также не очень сложно. Хотя в целом изделие мне понравилось. Такой стиль меня интересует (иначе бы я не смотрел видео Ваше и подобные).
