    For groups within groups: Use the slash key '/' between your group names.
    I don't know if this version of Substance Designer had groups within groups, but that's actually what I was looking for so that's why I left the above sentence in-case anyone else is looking for that information.

    Is there a way to expose the random seed ?

    could you teach how to set them up in unreal engine for changing the parameters in a material instance ? pleaseee

    Is there a way to combine multiple parameters? Like the X and Y amount of Tile Sampler into just one slider?

  • @LugizG

    Why when i do with a Seed, for example, the Tile Sampler doesn't work?

    Are any plans to add exposing parameters inside Substance Designer to drive similar nodes with single param? For example if I'm using multiple Tile Samplers for creating different masks and if I change X parameter in one it can propagate to other Tile Sampler nodes. Thank you.

      You can already do this. Just Expose once, then for the next ones, pick the existing parameter. Has been possible for years ;)

      @@Substance3D omg, thank you!!!

      @@Substance3D the one thing is maybe you can still leave the exposed parameter editable in place, just maybe color it blue color.

    I have a question. Is it possible to have exposed parameters cascade / or show up in another graph that they are nested in? I am trying to do this but I only see the exposed parameters from the parent graph, not the nested graphs. Thanks!

      You'll have to re-expose, there's no way to automatically cascade parameters (with reason, imagine what a tile sampler would do..). You might want to read up on multi-expose in the docs: docs.substance3d.com/sddoc/exposing-a-parameter-102400062.html

      @@Substance3D Thanks for the response, I really appreciate it. I eventually figured it out. I'll be certain to read that documentation!

    so is SP already compatible with the v8 engine? or was the graph that was published a v7?

    • @Substance3D
      @Substance3D  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is not compatible in 2020.2.2 which is our current release. Our next update will be compatible with Engine 8.
