Popular games like this really put a fine point on the nightmare of streaming them. No surprise that really popular streamers burn the fuck out. At least in LP format, you got an ounce of brain space to focus on the game, and the worst of it was dealing with the comments -- now you have to constantly address the Legion in the room as it gibbers and sharts in your field of vision.

Did you use the bolt thrower? It saves you A LOT of ammo, since I've adopted to using it in the middle of the village, I went from struggling quite a bit to having a fun but a challenging experience with the bolt thrower

I love it for some moments but then you get the really annoying users that spoil games like this by backseating pat in all caps and repeating it until he pays attention and it's like bro, shut up and let Pat bumble, he has played a resident evil game before
They're just children that are tripping over themselves trying to get some attention from the target of their infatuation. They know one of the main things the streamer will pay attention to is advice and help, so they're grasping at straws hoping to be noticed. Kinda sad, really.
i knew hardcore was hard but i've been doing it on my 1st playthrough just fine. it doesn't seem as bad as people are making it out to be. i think normal is better for pat due to streamer tax though. i'm glad he's having fun.

Cant explain how much i love this game. I only beat the original last year, wasnt sure if itd be too early for me to jump into this but im about 12 hours into it now and can say so far its improved in every way. Playing this after i 100% GoW Ragnarok, this could be my favourite year for gaming yet.
Ray-tracing is shocking good on the PS5 in framerate mode. It's pretty identical to it's performance without, as there's really only one place where the framerate massively dips regardless of your settings, and that's the village during the thunderstorm. And while it's easy to take for granted (it's obviously most apparent with reflections), you'll start to appreciate how much better shadows look, and how light bouncing off of surfaces more accurately reflect colors onto other surfaces.
Hardcore is really rough. Swapping was honestly the right play. The cabin is so overtuned I almost quit and restarted there. I haven't run into any unkillable bosses up to the island, but one definitely had an instant kill grab that could not be stunned in any way
I think Hardcore is great for a second playthrough if you're not an absolute god at this game. The game is so different from the original that I think Hardcore is a tad overtuned and sucks the fun out of some sections if you're not sure what to expect.

Otherwise the CRA is going to note that verification as being highly sus. EDIT: additional note, lying about working for large companies like twitter is an especially stupid idea, as those companies will almost certainly have dedicated HR personnel to handle verifications, an automated in house system to look up that information, or they outsource the work of doing a verification to a third party verification service like The Work Number or Thomas and Company.
The whole "play this if you played re 4 in 2005" thing Is just BS. This game controls and plays NOTHING like the og. Its not hard once you're used to it but that description is disingenuous at worst and just wrong at best.
Why is everyone so bothered about shooting black people in RE5 but not bothered about shooting white people in RE4. There was one person in Pat's chat that said "just set the game in south africa so everyone is white" like that makes it ok.
The only part in re5 that i see as coming off as racist is the part where you shoot literal grass skirt wearing spear chuckers in the swamp and temple ruins area.
I've never understood the racism criticism for RE5. The game is set in Africa, the majority of the population in every country in Africa is black. If the game was set in New York and the only enemies you killed were black then yeah it would be racist, but as it stands it simply isn't and the accusation of racism holds no water. Plus no one complains about the section of RE6 where you go to China and kill all the Chinese people, or the fact that everyone in this game is Spanish.

You can eat the skin of a kiwi. Most people don't like it since it's fuzzy tho. The golden kiwis are better since there's no fuzz.
