I made the mistake of volunteering for this part in my orchestra. I have barely played any tambourine in my life, however I am hopeful that I will be able to practice with this as guidance. Those techniques are even more complex and diverse then the notation made me anticipate.

Wow, that is simply incredible! It's very organic and relaxed and beautifully to watch with all the elegant movements and highly differentiated techniques. Looks also very complex and a real art that can not be appreciated highly enough. Kudos!

8” Tambourine?
Yes. It is more manageable in the agile passages but I can still get a good volume from it. I´m using a 10" at the end for the finger rolls.
