It is REALLY important to use 91% alcohol, not the cheaper lower %. It cleans the natural oils from the surface and eliminates bacteria. Lesser % alcohol is no more useful than water.

@@karenmartin2164 Yes, the short version would be, if you can go barefoot and maintain soundness and a healthy foot structure with your particular use of the horse, then by all means go barefoot. BUT, that does not mean barefoot for all, or even trying to get your horse to go barefoot. I will be going into this in a little more detail in my next video on the digital cushion.
