It comes down to personal preference, the space, and the style of the card. Just some general guidelines to help get started. :) :) Thanks for watching
That’s sa great video Jacque with clear explanations and beautiful examples. Your cards are delightful and very professional. I don’t know if you’re aware but the volume kept going in and out as you turned your head. I started off by turning the. Volume way up but then had to turn it down and up again. Just something to think about for other videos. Thanks you for sharing😊❤
Jacque, this was such a helpful video. Embellishment placement is skmethi g that I have always struggled with and you have helped to demystify the process. Thanks so much. 😊🇨🇦
This is a great tutorial on embellishment placement. I naturally gravitate to the same rules or guidelines you use. But I know some people have a hard time with it. So it’s awesome to have some type of guideline to follow if you don’t feel comfortable with how you’re cards look.
Oh my! I loved watching this - not only for all the wonderful tips on placement of embellishments (which I always struggle with) but also for the great cards you showed. I need videos on a bunch of them. Are they all on your blog?
First I have run across you, thank you for such pretty cards. Might we know the names of the sets used for the stamps next time? or did I miss them mentioned somewhere? Lovely !
Hi there! I didn't mention too many of them in this video mostly because I was focusing on embellishments, and wanted the video to not be about the stamps themselves. But for the sample cards, you can find the supply list and descriptions, etc. here: stamphappy.co.nz/how-to-place-embellishments-with-confidence/ I try to put the blog post link in the description once I have blogged the projects; I hope that helps. If there's a particular project you want details on, let me know. :) :)
I am often asked "how do I know where to put the embellishments", so I compiled this short video with a few tips for you. As a disclaimer, art is entirely subjective, and these suggestions are only just that. I hope these tips just give you a starting place, and then you decide what looks best on your unique project. My samples use the new Inked and Tiled suite and the Inked Botanicals stamp set. BLOG POST: stamphappy.co.nz/how-to-place-embellishments-with-confidence/
Thanks for showing examples of proper placement and sharing your tips as to why placing gems elsewhere doesn't work. Informative video thanks.
Thanks so much! I'm happy to hear that
I’ve always heard the rule of odd numbers in triangular arrangement. Bless you are using three in a row of course.

Where was the fern stamp from and how did you make the "window" in the window card scene?
The fern is from Nature's Prints. Just cut the stamped piece into four - super easy :)
