I got a 5 star milcery (that gets evolved to alcremie), evolved it, and then I still got G-max alcremie. Is there a certain reason why I still got G-max even thou the specific dynamax raid wasn’t alcremie?
I found my alcremie on the first try. That’s what I call lucky

To be fair, G-Max Dreadnaw is useless in raid battles compared to regular Drednaw as G-Max's Drednaw's G-Max move makes it so water type attacks does stealth rock as a secondary effect instead of rain dance. Stealth rock is only good against trainers with more than one Pokemon, not Raid Battles.
And where's Gigantimax Toxtricity? I saw him on the video cover...…… but he's not in the video! What that for?!!

There’s a bonus way to get Gigantamax Charizard. When you beat the main story, go to Leon’s room in Hop’s house. Leon left you a Charmander. When you evolve into it into Charizard, it will have the ability to Gigantamax.

@James Azucena Nope. Isle of Armor gives you Urshifu and Venusaur or Blastoise. You can even Gigantamax your own starter on the Isle of Armor

If you use this technique, you get watts every time you check the beam.
Me: uses duskball/repeatball for highest catch rate. Fails constantly
Prosafia: uses pokeball. Catches no problem
Pokemon that aren't promotional raids have a 100% capture rate with any kinda pokeball
@Codebreaker45Promotional raids are just Gamefreak showing off the new features of the game and giving out free rare pokemon (G-max ones are kinda hard......)
Delibird was a promotional raid but unfortunately it was available until Dec 25th
Normal Drednaw, Sandaconda and thier g-max forms are currently appearing in pokemon sword as promotional raids until 30th Jan
Normal Corviknight, Centiskorch and their g-max forms are currently appearing in pokemon shield as promotional raids until 30th Jan
And both normal snorlax and g-max snorlax are appearing in both versions as promotional raids till 15th Jan

I hate that that can happen. You put all this effort into beating these really strong Pokémon and there’s no guarantee that you’ll catch it.

Since Gmax Butterfree is attainable during an event right now, then Gmax Toxtricity and Melmetal will be too.

Side note: if you use the day skip method and are also using the rotomi to do ev seminars, do not do it on a day that rolls the month back over to the first. It glitched my game out.

@@kyranmason3429 so when you have the EV training seminars at the end of the game after you become champion, you can use the day skip method here to get those seminars done in just a few minutes instead of the full 24 hours.
the way I do this method is I stay in one month and just keep continuously changing the day. So when I got to the end of the month in the calendar and rolls the date from October 31st to October 1st it glitched out my game. I was doing the EV seminars to train my competitive dreepy and it glitched saying there was -8 hrs left and wouldn't give me my dreepy back.

@@kyranmason3429 I ended up having to quit the game and restart EV training that dreepy. Because I tried to to the day skip a few more times while it was stuck to see if that would fix it, but it went from -8 to -16 to -32. i quit the game after that and I had the dreepy back when I loaded in

This is the only way to get the HA Solar Power in the game though. Also it has a chance of being shiny while the one from Leon is Shiny Locked.

Mario Highlander Ik I was getting annoyed when they kept clicking the water type move lol but they were doing roughly the same damage which is one thing I don’t get in the game...:/
I think the trainer was trying to utilize the rain to boost it's water type move
It's because max attacks have a cap on how much damage they can do

It’s better if you have real life allies that are always gonna die. Their cheer can break barriers.

Offline it is (supposedly) always a 100% capture rate.
If you are doing a raid online, the host will have a 100% capture rate. The guests will have a much lower chance

So if you caught say a G-Max Grimmsnarl, would you then be able to gigantamax any grimmsnarl or only that specific grimmsnarl that you caught at the raid?
Gigantamaxing is only available for that one specific grimmsnarl
wether or not it is inheritable through breeding is curently unknown (?) at least for me
I haven't neither found public info on the matter or tried it for myself (yet) I can't make any promises but if I do find out I'll update my comment

Mystic Lysandre u trade one normal meowth for special one at one of the bus stations
Grass gym town trade a galarian meowth for a kantonian meowth in the gym
My favorite Gigantamax pokemon is Grimmsnarl, when I finally do encounter one, I’m on god gonna use a masterball on it, I can not afford such an amazing Pokémon to escape(Or Duraludon xd)

What are Watts anyway, and how do you even get them?
Watts are like another form of currency and there are a couple of ways to get them. One way to get watts is by checking the raid dens that are red. If they are empty they usually contain 200 watts, but if there is a raid Pokémon inside, it usually gives 2,000 watts. Another way to get watts is by fainting or capturing “Brilliant Pokémon”.
StarBlazer 64 or if you haven’t beaten the game only 50 to 300 watts when checking dens I think

Hey folks! Here's some advice! Do not worry about the mystery gift Meowth or the Let's Go Gmax Pikachu/Eevee. If you,have the Isle of Armor DLC, or know someone who does, you,can get them to collect Max Mushrooms and talk to the NPC in the Master Dojo's kitchen. They will offer a thing called Max Soup and you will select a Pokemon capable of Gigantamaxing, even Meowth, Eevee, and Pikachu.

I have a question, so u cant catch pokemon depending on the badges you have but does that also affect the raid den? For example i would want a g-max grimmsnarl and the levels of the pokemon on dusty bowl are like 40+ can i still get the grimmsnarl even though it wont let me catch the high level pokemons in the area?

It is a 10% chance to get a rare purple den and once you get the purple den, it is a 33% chance to get a five star Pokémon and in that 33% chance, it is a 5% chance to get a gigantamax Pokémon
