What an unusual game
I love how Toolman portrayed his play style as toolsy as his name. Risky but tricky, that why Happy was unable to respond the unpredictable changes.
Leave the base empty to trick Happy go full vindies, keep harassing and attack on all fronts to reduce enemy units and resources, no war factory to deny the idea of rushing cryo helicopter, aggressive and effective use of twin-frog combo, especially the twinblade rocket splitting.
Finally, he did go for super weapon.

That was a surprisingly great use of supers in a 1v1 match. Got off two nukes and they're both did a great deal of damage to break Happy. Definitely would be nice to see more supers plays in small matches

"Toolman" is one of the most popular Chinese slang in 2020, it refers to people who is willing or forced to serve others without getting properly paid. It widely refers to the current labor market in which nearly everyone is being squeezed by corporations for more profits.

AvS in Infinity Isle with no tank battles! (I was expecting some Hammer Tank action lol) Some interesting strategies from both players especially from Toolman. There were some small mistakes here and there, but all ended up to be a good game overall.
Those tank battles would probably end up favouring happy, as cryocopters tend to be a great tool for dismantiling such ground forces. Not to metion how easy it is for allies to defend combining cryos with multigunner turrets.

First time after 2015, allies having difficulty against soviets and can't contain them.
Imagine how op a faction that remained supreme for 6 years.
Toolman's strategy feels like the average RA2 Soviet Union build lmao, the attack helicopters, the kirov and the dreadnaught! all he's missing is extensive repeated use of iron curtain lmao
Did you enable graphic mod during the recap? I see some miner changes like twinblade went down with fire and vacuum exploder blast off left a mark on the site which looks like Iron Cannon effect.

The game is kinda magical.. He didn't use a lot of forces but consistent with his attack. It's satisfying to see and my attention glued to Toolsman.
I'm just glad to see some Soviets and what a game for them to comeback in!
What music do you use for these? Its amazing!
Some of the music is licensed through Artlist (though you can find some of those tracks elsewhere) and the rest is from Triune Digital music packs.

Can you still play this game on official servers or do you need some kind of third party software to be able to play online?
Twin blades and frogs always seemed like such a weak combo for me, but now I know it can be very useful.

How do you land a Twinblade on water?! Does it drop to the surface as soon as you try to load infantry into it, no matter where it is? Or is there another trick he's using?

Top 4 are all quite good. Bike is the obvious favorite.
How can you zoom out so far and 60 fps?
Zoom level is normal for 16x9 screens. The game is running at 30fps, the footage is interpolated up to 60 in the edit.
SPOILER: Amazing to see soviets beat allies with less money and without WF.

By they way they were playing it seems like thay had a side-objective similar to king of the hill, rather, king of the observation post.
Cuz some made-up rules could apply
- whomever maintains control of the observation post the longest or at the end of the game (regardless of battle winner) wins
- player who destroys the observation post loses
Side rule: no tanks! 😝
I could be wrong but it may as well have these side-conditions agreed on by the players lol

Lots of people play RA2. By the numbers it’s either the most played C&C or 2nd most played.

I personally have no respect for players who build super weapons. Not saying he wouldn’t have still won but it takes a lot of the legitimacy out of it.

Why are there, in general, nearly no super weapons being used both in RA3 and TibW?
Many times the cash invested into them and the time you have to wait before using isn't worth it. They're more common in team games or less competitive formats.

3 Bullfrogs needed to down 1 Vindicator, but 1 Vindicator is needed to destroy a Bullfrog.
bullfrogs take 4 bombs to kill iirc. The only aa that 1 vindicator can kill is the tengu
