These run actually took place on the 429 by mount dora. Met up at the speedway gas station.
That rstt was a good race, surprised how well the ats v kept up against such a small car and fast.
The sad part is a set of ported heads would probably pick up 100hp. That intake bowls are hot garbage chocked down for emissions.
This video makes me want an ats v now...great stuff

All tune talk aside. your Ats-v is fire. That's what I like to see. I've got the same mods on my V. dp, fc, lpfp, flex sensor n intake.

I got an allocation for a ct4 Blackwing and I have an RS3 with 4200 miles on it.
So conflicted.
You won't be able to tune that blackwing.. So good luck with that 12s car.
@@chrisewry4225 sadly even if I had 600whp in the RS3 it’ll only be faster in a straight line.
Also there’s no reason a Blackwing can’t be tuned.. unless of course they do some shitty DME lock like BMW does.
That said, there’s a few ATS-Vs pushing 600whp with basic mods.
RS3 is a beast but it’s pretty boring and not a drivers car. Wish I could have a Miata with the 5cyl

Ats V very underrated car. That topend was impressive against the audi.
Very underrated. We just put 3 stock turbo ats-v's in the 9s yesterday. All had tapouts simple purple belt package and e60 to e70. 2 did it at stock weight, 1 of those 2 had full factory interior and exhaust also, the other one had weight reduction but added sand bags to trunk to get it back up to stock weight. We also had another ats-v set a personal best time that almost got him the world record. Record is 9.35 and he ran a 9.38.

Mind explaining what an e60 tap out tune is? I'm assuming the car just can't run anything above that for safety reasons.
No the tune is set to run anywhere up to e70 as that is the highest e content was tried so far. The tune automatically adjust for whatever ethanol content you put in. That night just happen to be on e60.

@@someguy19x there is no proven dyno results of before and after from stock to rp intake or rp intake vs any other, do e on same day same car.

So sick, seems like the V is getting faster! How much power is the V putting down?
They are we got to cars tuned by schmidty trapping 135 plus with just bolt ons and one on stock fuel system running 9.71 @137 and 9.88 @135. They are finally moving out fueling and bigger turbos I don’t see why one can’t run 8s close to 150 mph

Yes it slowly getting faster. fueling is key for these cars. And yes Schmidty is doing so.e impressive stuff with these cars.
