Yeah, Murloc Shaman on Wild is actually pretty insane. Really high high rolls, being able to end games at turn 4 and 5 is insane.

@@Umicron_ Really? I've only encountered one murlock shaman! (It was literally the first wild game I had ever played) and I defeated him with a druid.
@@jonjoni8460 I started playing wild on the first of this month and now I'm at diamond (otk mage is a fast deck) and I'd say a good 35-40% of games I play are against quest murloc shaman

The last game was thrown in turn 5. The obvious clear was to take a slow turn and use weapon + HP, in order to come in strong turn 6

I probably would never play duels again if I was that paladin.

Seems like warrior is hard to beat outside of extreme highroll decks. That last one got a little lucky on the draw though it seems.

I got 12 wins and 1 loss with a demon hunter deck the other day.. picked the hero power that summon 2 illidari with rush and the treasure that gives minions that cost 2 or less poisonous... game over, every minion you drop I kill with my hero power

I'm glad to see that the developers just leaned into what I hated about this format and contributed to me quitting the game. I don't have to care if it somehow got better for me and waste time in coming back.
This is my same problem w duels, the decks that get an ez 8 wins can’t beat 40+ health opponents in late game.

Just responding to the title, haven't seen the video yet... "Only in duels"? I've been doing just fine with it in standard. 31-11 at the moment, diamond and below (lot of below as well, to be fair). I think if you don't lean too heavily on the murlocs and you have the doomhammer plus weapon buff to go with it, it can work.
Then again, maybe it just works as a weapon deck and it would be even better without the murlocs... that might be true also.
I play Murloc Shaman every month in Wild to climb from Bronze to Diamond in 1-2 play sessions. It has a great win rate at those lower tiers, above 70% for me. Once I reach Diamond the win rate drops a lot, it's not a good deck to go for Legend, or maybe it is but I don;t have the patience. I usually stop my run in Diamond 4.
It’s pretty popular in legend right now, I play against it every couple games

It's not lethal, the 1/3 that gives rush is silenced.

You mean the locust one? If it's then that game wasn't about clear the board or not he's just guarantee to lose so he doesn't clear the board and pray that his opponent misplay the obvious somehow but he did misplay in the adapt section probably because he's already given up.
He was guaranteed to lose because the locust spell had twinspell
that treasure has twinspell, opponent would just throw locusts to the face again and win
