I was blown away! It's as if you jumped into the Matrix. Crazy how far weve come from Atari to this. Did you ever get vertigo? I didn't since im not afraid of hights. Got a bit of MS from Kayak when I played it for the first time but apparently your brain gets used to it after a while. Also blown away by Moss on the VR2! It feels like you are literally transported into a fairytale or like you are lucid dreaming! This thing is on another level. Too bad it's very niche and not experienced by most people

Area X on PSVR2 is an almost religious experience. Mind blowing visuals.

@@robsmith5434 it's incredible. Same with Thumper!! The game is easier in VR due to better depth perception. It took me 5 tries to beat the final boss in L1 in Thumper and beat him on my first in VR. Once you go VR its hard to go back to flat screen on these games

Rez on PS virtual reality is in the Mt Rushmore of all-time gaming experiences. It engrosses like very very few games can. Gen Z reviewers really crap on "railshooters". But railshooters in VR (Rez, Rush of Blood, Pistol Whip) are awesome experiences.

The eye tracking in rez is the reason I can finally enjoy it. As an older player with slower mind to hand reflexes, it solves the frustration.

I think of Rez Infinite like I think of Cosmogramma: a total masterpiece utterly unlike anything else in the genre, and infinitely replayable.

How do I play it in VR2? It's just a flatscreen image in my VR. Is that all? if so, then this game sucks ass...

So imagine being on the same train as everyone else who see's eye tracking as this massive upgrade over having to physically input via a thumbstick or any other past physical input method. It is a true VR upgrade experience to see or even the thought of eye tracking becoming a more prevelant option in games. Balance be damned. Forward progression is more important.
But then we come to reloading weapons in VR and everyones like. "No, it has to be physical." And you all actively fight against having a less physically gatekept VR for everyone. All so you can compete at reloading weapons in video games. So much so, that they are hell bent on doing everything to destroy the controllers ability to hold parity with flat gaming controllers in pursuit of forcing everyone stand up and perform manual reloads.
You all missed the entire point of VR. Eye tracking at least understands what VR can be.
The PSVR2 controller designs is why PSVR2 will fail. Because the AAA market is making what VR should be, for flat monitors on controllers with things like D-Pads on them. While VR controllers are trying to delete buttons and re-arrange them to force non-parity physical only VR.
You ask me, Anyone who thinks VR should force Physical only interactions and agrees with deleting D-Pads off the controllers to that end. Would be better off taking the HMD off. What you want already exists. Most every one of these VR games coming up, should have had an alternative method of playing it with the regular Dual Sense controller instead of getting 3 hours at a time. So you can force a Gimmick.
Personally, I'd rather have a VR that lets me trascend physical limitations, instead of one trying everything it can to limit itself to the same rulset of one that is honestly, quite limited in regard to whats actually possible.
So Far, in comparison, Flat gaming over the last 20 years has offered a better version of that place than "VR Only" Beatsaber gimmicks.
Even the thought that games can't be Both, is rediculous and anyone pushing that nonsense is the one that should be silenced.
