  • In this video, I discuss how I installed a set of 9 inch XTM LED driving lights on my D22 Nissan Navara (Nissan Frontier). These lights cost me under $160 and all I needed was a crimping tool and crimping accessories (male and female connectors). If you were to buy a wiring harness for $70, this setup would only cost $230 if you didn't have driving lights installed before. This is about half the cost of just one of the mid-range lights that was recommended to me at other stores.
These are the exact lights shown in this video:

Where did you get the clear plastic cover without the big XTM logo in the middle?

It’s the same clear cover that comes with them. If you use a bit of methylated spirits, a cloth and some elbow grease, the logo comes right off.

Could you show more on where the wiring harness that the previous owner put in goes? Like as in from the switch, near the pedals and then through the fire wall? Thanks for the vid

For sure. I plan on doing another episode on wiring so I will be sure to include it. Thanks for watching!

Do you find the 9inch to be overly big? I have a pair of 7” and looking to get some new ones, not sure if to go 7 again or 9!

Definitely go for the 9 inch. Just make sure you have enough space. I like the look of the 9 inch lights. Bigger spread of light is always a bonus! Fills up the bull bar nicely too 👍
