I worked for a neighbor that used one of those too. I was about to say that they were built in Albert Lea.
For some reason the Edwards didn't wear all that bad.

It’s possible that it had that wear blade replaced just before it was parked. Doesn’t have that many miles in recent years.

Nice grader, we used to have one similar. I don't know what brand it was, but I remember playing on it. Nice looking calf.

Thanks. It’s better for driveway work than the skid steer.

Cool old machine. I saw one with a front set of wheels sitting in a flower bed, a bit of a waste...

Yeah, they are built to be used. This one is very solid.

Good morning Dawn and Dave ☕☕☕
I've always wanted one. Almost had a couple tractors converted to graders. Almost had a horse drawn too. But they wanted about 3 times what they were going for. But then, it was 8 miles away, compared to 2,000 miles away 🤔

Morning Ed. It is the perfect tool for grading gravel roads for sure. You need two guys to run it but it does the job.

We've got a front dolly and a few bits and pieces of a old horse drawn grader in the yard for conversation.... When I was a kid, I remember a few around people still used.... Our County Highway Dept used a big one behind a dozer right up into the 60's. Thanks Dave.

I was amazed at how well it works after 100 years. Must be a good design because they all kind of look the same.

No tires to go flat or hydrolic lines to weather!

Some days you wish for simpler equipment for sure. But I do like my cab with AC😊.

I always wondered how good those worked and I always wanted one. It’s amazing how good is shape that thing is you sure are centered around a lot of nice old equipment. I really like that Meleoe drill all you’ve got in the last video. Can’t be too many of those are wrong.

It really works good. I drove back there yesterday and the driveway is smooth as can be. The Melroe is a nice drill but I continue to fight the clutch. Poor design that fails too often, but it places the seed nicely.
