I followed everything but it won't spin. What could be the problem?

Ur rotation without candle should be as much smooth as possible .smooth unless it won't spin . I also faced same problem when the tip on which it rotates was thick so I used a sharp needle and below I used a metal so it could rotate easily. Try to reduce friction as much as u could . This will solve Your problem

u can use a small cup shaped thing made of metal so that it won't fall while spinning
