You need athletic breathable shirts, Kurt, not those heavy cotton T-shirts. That saved me when I was out in the barangays walking around. Love these videos. It's the real Philippines. The corner bakeries are the best.
I just subscribed your channel as a way of appreciating you for lifting up Filipino culture. You make me so proud eventhough I am based here in the US🇺🇲
Barangay Kupang is clean. I do not see any trash on the sidewalks and streets. Give a shout out to the Barangay Captain, other officials and most of all the citizens.
Just finished watching this vlog in brgy. Cupang. Muntinlupa City. This is the barangay where my husband and i grew up. Happy seeing havent viisited Cupang for so long

🧡🧡🧡Pianono is a filipino sponge cake roll that is similar to swiss roll. There are many variations that includes fillings like ube, custard, dulce de leche and mocha. The second bread with red filling is called pan de regla or kalihim. Ang galing mo naman makipagtawaran sa tricycle.😆
Even if you didn't ask as you said: Iam sweating profusely. In Tagalog translation it is: Tumatagaktak Ang pawis ko. This statement is present progressive meaning it is happening NOW.
That's Baranggay Cupang in Muntinlupa City, I grew up in Lakeview Homes in Baranggay Putatan by Muntinlupa City Hall. Anyways, watching from North Hollywood California, Mabuhay!
So funny I was just there all April. Peak summer season. 1st 3 days I wanted to go back to CA. My true Filipino blood kicked in and I started adapting and actually enjoying the heat and sweat. Came back to California 2 weeks later. Iost weight and now I'm always cold AF lol
Kuya Kurt, I think you like Beef Pares very much. I have a suggestion for you, go to Originel beef pares at Retiro, Laloma, Quezon city. That's where pares started, the original one. More power to your channel!
I think the baton like in front of you 15:25 when your sitting in the trike is a weapon of mamang driver in case of emergency, "trobol"👊. Some of jeepney drivers has one too
Did you ever interviewed by calvin castiel tagalogkurt I like both face of manila simple, elegance and modern People are friendly and hospitable have an experiment to live in a filipino family Best seller is pinakamabenta idol tagalogkurt
Good morning from Down Under, Kuya Kurt. 😂😂 The red one is called Pan de regla & other one is Spanish bread. Popular breads in the Phils. Are you in Manila or Taguig area? 🍞 🥐🥖👍
I think he said 100 for the ride because, please don't be offended, the average passenger is half your size. He could fit 3 Filipinos in his Tuk Tuk , at 30 pesos each.
kuya Kurt I meet guy from UK here on TH-cam I always watching his TH-cam video for two days now ..u have same content always walking and talking to people ..my suggestions Kurt make small card it's like calling card and there's name on ur TH-cam channel so everytime people asking ur TH-cam it's not hard for u to explain..anyway nice vlog 🤗🤗🤗🥰
Is it Go With Ali? He gives away calling card too during his stay here in the Philippines. I think the calling card with all the socmed handles made it easier for people to follow his page.
Tuktuk is known in Thailand, china, loas , Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, Taiwan ! Pilipino will laughed at you if you called tricycle , tuktuk, they might think you’re a white dude from India 😂or white dude made in china

You obviously never travelled much around Philippines. There are several provinces in the country with tuktuk which is built to replicate the actual Tuktuk in Thailand. The island of Boracay alone is filled with Electric tuktuk. Just happens you call both vehicles tricycle eventhough there is a huge difference in design.
Sir, it looks like the Maynila area is tiring. You must go to mindanao or bisaya or beaches people more kindness in Pangasinan,Cordelera, benguet.must encountered the God culture or ilocos area.or Ilo-ilo Or Dumaguete, Davao.

Ok but wondering where do you get your shirts, Kurt?

This is what makes your vlog unique compared to others. You don't go to popular tourist destinations. Looking forward to watching more videos.

My bakery favorites as a kid are: Pianono (ask for it), Spanish bread, Pan de Coco, Ensaymada and of course Pan de Sal.
I felt like I was walking with you. Great job Kuya Kurt.
kuya was happy!♥
paborito ko sa Pinoy bakery
1. egg pie
2. kabayan
3. crinkles
Exactly!!! That's the everyday Filipino Living in rural area. Tama ka Kuya Kurt, masyado ka nang sanay.
You got that right Kuya Kurt and you're on the right track. It's better in the suburbs than the glamour of areas for the rich like BGC. You nailed it.
That’s how I like to travel… talk to local, commute like locals… etc…
Pinakamabenta is correct tol 😊
Woohoo, was wondering when you would run into an INC chapel. I like seeing the steeples.
Keep the change means (Sayo na lang ang sukli )

Kuya If you want to say keep the change just say "inyo na po ang sukli" sukli is the change, barya is coins
Sir kurt yong kulay red in between ang tawag don ay kalihim
That's ube pianono, the regular one is like a chiffon cake with margarine and butter on the toasted side and rolled.
Tama ka kurt Best seller is Pinakamabenta.
Pag solo ka sa tricycle mas mahal talaga yun. lalo na ngayon nagmahal ang gasolina. Pero yung 70 sakto na cguro yun sa 1-2 km
The bread that has the red filling is called PAN DE REGLA
buy a sando
sleeveless shirt
and buy a Good Morning Towel,..... they sold them in the 1960 s. wonder if they still sell them 👍🙏👋💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
The one with the Red spread is kalihim
The bread that had red in it its called balintawak
the bread with red in the middle was called "pan de regla" pan means bread ang "regla" means menstruation
You should wear white cotton shirts and use umbrella Kurt
Loads of sun screen as well.
Looks like you were trying to say the bread "pianono"(pya-no-no)
Commonly known as Pedicab or padyak-padyak.
Medyo malayo rin pala, I think 70 medyo over priced pero fair lang naman na price especially solo ride.
have tried riding Owner Type Jeep?
I think he said 100 for the ride because, please don't be offended, the average passenger is half your size. He could fit 3 Filipinos in his Tuk Tuk , at 30 pesos each.

They called that tricycle in the Philippines not tuktuk
30 lang dapat .. the trike.. if they will ask you that. tell as trike body number kuys kurt

Tuktuk is known in Thailand, china, loas , Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, Taiwan ! Pilipino will laughed at you if you called tricycle , tuktuk, they might think you’re a white dude from India 😂or white dude made in china
Thats PANDE COCO...
Avoid eating colorful filled breads from local bakeries, they might just food colorings that could cause food poisoning.
