you do not know how much i thank you for your knowledge and parts 🎉 by far the most informative and detailed videos about modifying small engines on the net

My hemi predator broke a clutch key off and not a mark on the crank.
    I can't imagine breaking a shaft 😂
    Maniacs lol.

I like the video's. The live stuff is very long. Can you do similar talks like previously done that last 10 or 20 minutes?

What is the valve stem to guide clearance and are seals used?

Could you use your dial gauge on the bracket to set lash so you could see if you are actually opening the valve

Your exhaust lash is too loose non hemi I assume it's tricky set lash with bottom but hold with wrench then tighten jam nut while backing off adjustment nut

Is it 0.3 on both sides ?

do you do the same lash adjustment on the big blocks with dual springs

No, I use a feeler gauge on most valves with dual or high psi springs. The reason I dont use a feeler gauge on the AKRA engines is the springs are so weak. This can cause a false reading. Dual springs will hold better to get the proper adjustment.

other than dia. - what makes an intake valve different than exhaust. I see some valves sold as exhaust and I wanted that size for intake. thanks

What I find weird is the way the engine in the video is sitting. On all engine I have seen when the head is to the rear the flywheel is on the right side, with your engine the flywheel is on the left.
This has my head buzzing and Im either nuts or you have a very weird engine sitting there. Please help me with this , I know you are going to be right but I just can't figure it out.

It's a mirror image due to how it's recorded.
The engine he's using is a hemi 212 preditor.

What places do YOU ! apply assembly fluid to when assembling an engine. ?
Also , on a BSP 196c.c. engine , when running an
    Isky .274 L ift-.246? Dur.
    Black Mamba cam .
Besides valve springs , should I replace the stock
push rods with chrome moly push rods & reinforced rockers or Champion rockers ?
    Im sure Roller rockers are
    the way to go !
Or would a Mod2 cam with ratio rockers be easier on the valve train. & save $$
    ( Budget build here )
Sincerely ,Thx in advance Frank from Connecticut

I do not use assembly lube with splash lubed engines. We recommend using whatever oil you are planning on breaking the engine in with as assembly lube. True assembly lube is too thick for splash lube oiling. Oil should be applied on every moving part inside the engine.
Anytime you go above an 18lb spring, a chromoly push rod should be used.
