Re: the single Horn - Ford had dual horns for the S550 right up to MY2019. Forn then cut costs and installed only single horns on all 2019 Mustangs. In 2020, they added the dual horns back. Perversely, Ford sells the dual horn setups for folks to install back on their 2019s lol. Great vid Bill! This is really pushing the "back in the road in no time" haha!
Could you share the difference in IAT temps? I am contemplating which blower to go with and your experience and input is welcomed and appreciated. Nice video brother
In for the actual results and opinions. I want to hear how it does! I live in AZ where it's HAF right now. My summer 1/4 mile speed drops from 129 in the winter down to 123 in the summer if I'm lucky.
I have a whipple so thats a no go but if those vents matched "anything" up front i would put the vents in and add my own coolers for the trans and oil system. Such a good idea to add those vents to drop the ball and have it match nothing up front. 😔
If you have the factory gloss black grill they will match that pretty well, in my car the front end is pretty custom so they stand out but really don't look bad in person. I planned to paint them at some point but not sure I will now.
@@cjponyparts true, the gloss black will match the stock upper grill. However, in my opinion. Most of us complain about the matte lower grill and gloss upper combo as is. But with the roush vents now we have 3 different grill vent designs. Honeycomb in the upper, a rectangular in the lower and a straight rib style now with these. Just way to many differences to me. Its honestly the only thing that bothers me in the kit. And if i had to pick between function or form function would prevail.
@@jasonwoody8041 GT/CS grilles match the Roush grilles and yes, you can install this with a Whipple. Theres a Whipple'd GT in Livonia making 82X HP with this kit and a Roush tune file. Owner works at Ford and uses HP Tuners.
I haven't had a chance to really track it or anything. What I have seen is the IATS will come down faster. You can still get the blower hot if you beat on it but it seems the recovery time has gotten much better. After SEMA we are going to try and do a few back to back dyno pulls.
Bill is it worth doing the Phase 1 to Phase 2 upgrade on the 18-21’s? I think you drove both and what is your feedback on the difference Phase 1 to Phase 2? Thanks!
This kit is nice but I don’t like how no one is making this kit as a oil cooler and transmission cooler. If this kit was a trans and oil cooler it would be sick
I was installing a Procharger on my car earlier this summer and in the instructions it has you relocate the horns. I was like hmm I only have one horn. I was thinking it’s because my car is a base model PP1.

It absolutely does push the limit lol. Thanks for the horn info, I had no idea.
@@cjponyparts Np - I have a 2019, and found out a while ago what the deal was on the forums, and I now installed the dual setup!
The Roush guy quit at the end. Lol.
Lol. Unfortunately he was only in town for a day and filming took longer than expected since it was a new product.
hahahaha

Awesome Bill..great tutorial..alot of work but well worth it..
Awesome product from roush!
Cannot wait to get my hands on a mustang!
Awesome vid Bill. What happened to the side fender vents in the video for the install? Thanks Anthony
Since my car has GT350 style fenders I already have vents in them and with the fender flares they really wouldn't fit.
@@cjponyparts ohhhhhhh ok, very cool. Didnt know that, thanks for reply. I love both shelby and roush new vents, hot!!!
@@cjponyparts This kit is still not available from ROUSH what the heck?!?!?!?!?! Does CJ have a kit in stock? Thanks Anthony

So far it’s been very hot in PA and my IATs have been great but we are going to work on some real data.
@@cjponyparts Nice, thanks for being a tester for the kit! Curious to here the results!
Is the Edelbrock a better fit for a road course? What difference in heat soak is there between the two with comparable builds..
does it fit a regular gt?

Did U get an update I was thinking of upgrading but don’t know if it’s worth
Isn't phase 1 just an intake and couple of other bolt ons and phase 2 adds the supercharger?
Can this system work on other blower companies? Is it here a sit-up for 15-17?
Hello, I got no problem installing it, but do I need Ford software to flash the PCM? thank you
He removed the horn for weight reasons! Haha, Can't fool me...

I can see that. There is a factory oil cooler so I think their thought was more engine and blower cooling was a better use of radiator space.
@@cjponyparts yea I understand I just wish someone would make the coolers like the mach1 or gt350 have. Other than that love the content
@@stock__5.063 check out our recent video on the Mishimoto oil cooler.
@@stock__5.063 You do know you can install the GT350/Mach1 oil cooler on a regular GT... You can fix the Getrag trans issues by calling Tremec.

does it fit regular gt??????
I have an 19 Gt PP1 and only have 1 horn.
Apparently only the 19s have the single horn .

Legitimately almost no one uses a Roush 2.6 on an 18+ to actually race at the track.
