I actually played college football and at my uni we never had problems with that because our coach, staff, and school takes it very seriously. The only incident I could recall was from the ultimate frisbee club. Otherwise, even within the team you have different cliques. Not all football players were party bros but obviously they interacted the most with other students so they usually become the face of the team which is fine as long as they're not breaking rules.
