You use this technique when you do not have the other. In this class 3 case, you want to move the anterior the lower teeth to the back, so you want to force the roots into that direction following the crowns that why we want to use all high torque brackets.

Me too! Now I have braces on my upper teeth only. He’ll try moving them a bit forward. If it works, he’ll place braces on my lower teeth. He said if he puts braces on my lowers from the beginning my class 3 might appear even worse when the teeth are corrected. So wants to make sure the upper teeth move forward enough first. I’m still at the beginning so I can’t give you an honest review but they did move a little forward I think my front teeth can be fixed but not sure about my molars 😢
