You guys and the car got off very lightly , sadly I can’t say that’s always the case . Good luck with the repairs .
Thanks mate! 👍 We were quite close to a roundabout (but not close enough that the guy wouldn't have seen us IF he was looking) so nobody would realistically get up to great speeds. BUT you'r right we should have got out of the car and defo will in future. 👍

There's no chance this can be PDR repaired with no filler, the creases are too bad and over the seams. It needs a porta power and probably panel replacement.
That quarter will repair no probs. Rear panel will need replacing though I’d say. These cars were made of decent metal unlike the modern tin rubbish. Good panel beater will get that straight with minimal filler.

Insurance will always try to get out of a claim and will go to the cheapest repairer. I have been rear ended a few times now, years ago my Audi quattro was rear ended by a driverless car, the "panel beater" who did the "repair" pulled it out and used a load of filler (I measured it as being approx 5-6mm thick), had another panel beater "repair" the drivers door as a woman reversed into it, they replaced the door ok but cut all the wires and I had to take it back to them to get the paint match right 3 times. The next "panel beater" who "repaired" my current vehicle did such a poor job that I had to tell him to put the proper bolts in (that I supplied) and I had to take it back to them so they could fix the color matching....
This guy is a bit of a disaster. Forgets to bolt up the starter motor , comes apart while driving. Wheel bearing just comes apart, Forgets to bolt it up. Brake drum just falls off with little resistance.
