I was just there on Saturday, July 2, but it was a total disaster. The Guardians had a baseball game at Progressive Field, there were millions of people crossing the streets, and it was the 4th of July weekend. Even tried to go to Edgewater Park to see the script sign but the cops had the entrance blocked off for some reason (maybe fireworks). Will be coming to Cleveland again this week to shop. I love Cleveland!
Wow.. Sounds like a proper good time. I could imagine how many people would have been down their on a game day. Then add 4th of July weekend on top of that. must have been quite some traffic. good luck shopping, hope you find a jewel.
@@TheTravelerRV sure does. I recently visited Cleveland for 2 weeks. All fine and dandy until rain and cold came in, then I remembered why I left. That plus the taxes. :)
i am so glade you found this video. love knowing people watch their home towns and it brings them a nostalgic moment.. for my short time in Cleveland i really did like the town and architecture of the city. looking forward to my next visit there
Hello from an Ohioan 😊 I used to go to school near there (In fact, I used to drive by Hopkins Airport a lot when I was coming to school and coming home from school when I moved to Brook Park to spend the rest of my high school life 😍) When I went down I-71 for a trip to Brecksville to go play in a park, I saw the skyline coming to the trip and coming back from the trip and it looked cool 😊 I am from North-Central Ohio, so I recognize Lake Erie very well 😍
So cool ! I like hearing the memories people have when watching the videos. the whole nostalgic part of these videos is what draws me to them. Thanks a milli for sharing them. 👍😎
I remember when the East Bank was bumper to bumper cars and the streets and bars were clogged. And then the politicians did their thing and destroyed the biggest attraction in the city.
The daytime videos in CLE can be very entertaining. I like the GOAT tow truck driver who with a very sophisticated system fishes on streets, private homes, and parking lots with the help of his spotter for vehicles that are behind many months on their car payments.. The equipment slides under the bumper to the front wheels typically. Another portion shakes behind the front wheels & up the offending car goes & the GOAT efficiently pulls out into traffic with his prize. Frequently the owner of the towed car realizes he is losing his transportation & he runs out of his home or business like a shot chasing his lost car until he runs out of gas.. The GOAT & the towed car can't be caught just like the past due car payments will take time to free the impounded car.
i like Cincinnati, but just something about Cleveland that makes it one of my favorite downtown areas. i think its a lot to do with it being on the lakes that I like.
@@alexvuai1571 if your talking about the amount of people living their. Cleveland is slightly larger than Cincinnati is now. the population is 360k to 310k
@@alexvuai1571 yeah. im not from that area of the states. if i guessed i would think they were close since they are close in amount of people, but not sure

Sounds like something I would of like seeing. Politician's always fixing one thing just for another 3 to break.
Yes I remember back in the 90s Cleveland was a top fun city to go to!

ALL HAIL CLEVELAND❤
GO CLEVELAND !!!
Hey, nice video
Quick question, does it always look so empty?!
Thanks, I pretty sure this was shoot on a week night, but not sure on the norm since I'm not from here
Depends on the day. If there is a sporting event, definitely not. But around this time especially; it can get kind of lonely.

So from what I've was told since I was younger Cincinnati has more? Is that true?
