Happy Veterans Day! Thank you for your selfless service and dedication. 🙏🙌
Thank you Sarah from a US Army veteran.
I was in choir in high school and we were invited to sing this with them once. It was one of the most magical experiences of my life.
I can imagine 🥰
Beautiful! Being LDS I love when others enjoy our choir and rhe spirit they bring, we are all children of God music brings us together!
Thank you sarah its was an honor serving and id do again in a second if the marine corps asked me to serve my country once more 🪖🇺🇸 you and you'res have a fantastic weekend and continue to put out the beautiful music you do stay safe 👍
This bring tears to Americans.
Hurrah for the Union!!! A beautiful rendition & reaction to one of my favorite patriotic songs
"As He died to make men holy
Let us _Live_ to make men Free
While God is marching on!"
The original lyric is "Let us _die_ to make men free." It was originally an anthem for the military.
The reason for the change by the Tabernacle Choir, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a whole, is because we believe that Christ died for all mankind, on all sides of conflict.
Since He already paid the price, we must Live to make, or Help and Encourage men to be free through our Savior, Jesus Christ.
As exclaimed in I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day: "God is not dead, nor does He Sleep."
"God is marching on!" So we also must march on and help bring peace to this world.
Hello Sarah . The Tabernacle choir , the Army of God . Glory to Jesuschrist and to Church of Jesuschrist of the lattest days saints 🙏🙏🙏
As a military brat, wife if a vet and mother of a Marine these songs always give me the Holy Ghost Bumps!!! Thank you!!
greetings from 🇺🇾 girl, excellent video, as always, you have a good channel 😊✌️❤
This is a very old hymn, written during the Ameicn Civil War (circa 1863....) . It has since become one of the most if not the most renowned song in the repitoir of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Every choir in America knows it and I would guess and has sung it at one time or another. I know I did in high school.
So beautiful!! Thank you so much Sarah for sharing this!! You are American to us!! We’ve adopted you!! Sending lots of hugs and love your way!💜😘
Thank you. Beautiful.
I would like to see more reactions to the Tabernacle Chior; especially to “Let Peace Then Still The Strife” and “It Is Well With My Soul”.
Hi Sarah…. I had goosebumps in my brain as well. Thank you for honoring our veterans with this beautiful tribute 🥰
Thanks for posting this!
Magnificent rendition of a marvelous song. And your reaction is precious.
No other choir sings this hymn touching the heart like the tabernacle choir because they feel the comming of the lord in their testomony that Jesus is comming soon
Their enunciation is so great. It is as though they are singing with one voice!
The larger the choir, the more important enunciation is, or the words would quickly be muddled beyond all understanding.
I think your reaction videos are some of the best on yt. Idk what it is. The way you express yourself is so contagious
Thank you, Sarah. I'm a Vietnam combat Veteran.
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amen
Thanks!
Thank you so much for reviewing this. Got me emotional 🥲
I appreciate your support, Thank you 🙏😊
Sarah, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and just wanted to share with you that the name of the choir was changed about in 2021. It is now called the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. It was called the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for MANY years. But the Church of Jesus Christ, under the direction of President Russell M. Nelson wants to emphasize that we, as church members, worship our Lord, Jesus Christ, and not the ancient prophet, Mormon. Mormon is the last prophet to compile and write in the Book of Mormon, so he is important, but not who we worship. Thank you for your respectful reaction to this beautiful performance by the choir.
😊❤
