Got myself the titanium version after seeing your review. The tolerances on these is incredible. I love how the seam vanishes when you tighten the cap! Can't wait to have this in my collection.
Thank you Doodle Bud for a great video and a really nice pen. I’ve got one copper pen and I love it. This pen seems to have covered all bases. Thank you.
This looks really cool. And is very tempting. I would certainly use the lanyard attachment. My only negative thought is that I'm doing well on my "No Buy Fountain Pen" at the moment, and it would be around £90 which does seem kind of a lot of money.
The animal in the Bock logo is actually a mountain goat, not a deer. It's sort of a visual pun using the family name of the founder Peter Bock, because the word "bock" in German also means male goat(cognate with the English word for male goat, "buck").
@@Dosbomber They're both correct, but billy is a more recent word and isn't known as widely as buck around the English speaking world. Same thing with doe and nanny for a female goat; doe is the older and more widely used term.
Great review! I have been using my steel pen that Matt sent me for testing for a few months now with 0 issues. I even left it capped for a month with no use and it wrote immediately. This is a fantastic pen and I hope everyone loves them!
Thanks for the intro! I wouldn’t have found out about the kickstarter on my own. I like pens like this that you can change up. Though the lanyard/clip combo is a bit much.
1. Now I want a copper pen. 2. I don't like the idea of paying for accessories I won't use. 3.I guess $90 is okay for a copper pen. Better than your average kickstarter. 4. Thanks for the show.
Im surprised with it being modular, they didn't make it like the Kaweco Supra where you can make it longer or a shorter pocket pen. That could have allowed for both international standard and short cartridge and converters
In 2008, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) recognized copper as the first antimicrobial metal. In in vitro assays, solid copper surfaces killed 99.9% of microorganisms within two hours of contact. Copper is generally heavier than stainless steel.. depending upon steel alloy.
THANK YOU!!’ I’ve wanted a titanium pen that I could afford and this video really is so solid on this pen that I had to go check it out. Is the Titanium the lighter of all these metals? Which would be the heaviest of these? Happy to be backer #368! Such a helpful video!!
Another great review DB, and I loved the details. I have a Kaweco Bronze Sport, the Brass Liliput, the ensso Titanium Piuma, and should be getting the Titanium Namisu Nova. And now, I'll have a Modern Fuel Copper coming (not to mention the Titanium ensso Bolt)!!
I feel like you deleted my comment. I was saying that having to screw to post is a big mistake in my opinion and that they should inspire themselves from a pen like the parker vector.
I didn't delete any comments. TH-cam does automatically filter comments and sometimes a certain word or character can set it off. If a comment has a link in it, YT with automatically filter it.
This is another example of a fountain pen provided to you free of charge so you can promote this small grossly overpriced pen to viewers who are going to give you positive comments to be nice when the reality is they should say no it's going to pay such a dumb ridiculous price for something like this.
Yup thats me! Im a complete whore who will do anything and say anything for a pen and fake internet fame. If only my moral compass wasn't completely corrupt. So strange that their Kickstarter campaign sold out in 9 minutes days before my review came out.

No expert on goats here, but I usually associate male goats with "Billy". 🤷♂

The nib has been fantastic!
Kinda neat, I like the adjustability that's pretty cool
I saw this pen on kickstarter just yesterday. Good to see it being reviewed.
Man I was just looking at these last night! The review I needed desperately. Thank you!
Glad I could help

I like just the clip or just the lanyard, but some want it all! LOL

Beautiful Copper pen.
Dang it!!!Good review. Had to go order one in bronze.
Hope you enjoy it!
Vintage touch with that Lanyard attachment, works well. Copper looks gorgeous on this pen. Super review.
I think its going to look really interesting with I do the shipwreck finish
😍😍
Very nice
Its a fun pen
Nice, and will probably be even nicer as the copper gets a patina.

I agree. Missed opportunity

Ok. Sorry for the misunderstanding ^^
