It's wonderful seeing a TH-camr that is able to speak at length about gardening basing their own knowledge on trial and error personal experiences. It is wonderful seeing such a large family garden which is doing amazingly well. I personally never have been able to appreciate those channels with people who have a tendency to speak as a expert about gardening and their personal small garden is showing as doing very poorly and not even well maintained. Which is very much different from what is being displayed on your channel. Keep up the good work and I believe that the amount of produce coming out of your garden will show viewers that you are the real deal when it comes to gardening 👍🏾
Thank you brother for your kind words. When we started our channel, our goal was to teach and show by example what can be accomplished with a little sweat and some old school tried and true techniques. Happy to hear that others are actually learning and applying
I love your channel and that you give all praises to God. I, too, give God all the glory for my bountiful harvests! I often tell people that I feel closer to God in my garden than I do in church because He and I commune together on a daily basis. I do my little part by planting the seeds and fertilizing and caring for the plants and He does the rest by nourishing it with the rain, sun, wind and seasonal temperatures for the crops I am growing at that time. I don't look at gardening as work either, it is more therapy and worship with the Creator than work for me. I grow just about everything you are growing but I need to know where I can find true Callaloo seeds. A friend gave me some last year that she got from someone else but when I planted them the plants went straight to seed. I would appreciate it if you could tell me where to get some. Keep doing what you're doing, being a blessing to others as God blesses you. You and your family are a true inspiration to many. 🙏🏾❤😊
I love your garden all your plants are beautiful and lush. I saw you showing off your Carlaloo plants the leaves are so big and beautiful. Whatever you are feeding them with you are doing a very good job. Your garden is just very beautiful and lush. Wonderful wonderful work!!🙏🙏👍👍
I'm growing callaloo for the first time this year and those bugs are having an all-you-can-eat buffet. I sprayed with spinosad but they seem to be immune. I'll have to try the DE.
My hommie. I Watchwell lot of your videos, they are very good. I’m fr St Elizabeth where we do a lot of farming. Continue to grow what you eat and eat what you grow.
Beautiful garden... Bush beans sometimes grow tendrils, but they will still bush. not to worry, your seed variety will do what it is supposed to do. Blessings
You are a wealth of information. That tip about staggering different varieties of corn 🌽. I wish I knew before planting. Well we will see what happens. Anyway thanks bro
Goodness! Such a beautiful garden. It looks so peaceful and friendly. My goats got in my garden just today! They ate my rutabaga tops! It happens from time to time. I need to work on my fences.😂 Blessings to you all!
Love the garden and the thoughts of how many foods you can grow in it. Please can you give any tips on getting pests of the Basil plant. Thanks in advance..
Just found and sub'ed to your channel. I also watch Acre Homestead and she made Onion Top pesto with the tops of her onions stops them going to seed and helps to bulb up the onion as well as getting two products from one onion plant, love the channel by the way.
Interesting that so many pests are in the garlic bed. Pests usually don't like the smell of garlic so they stay away. I would think the scent of garlic is still in the soil. Do you find this unusual?
Bush are getting hard to find bought seed for bush and got 50% pole. Not happy but you have to make the best of what you get. I find pole beans not as tasty or easy to put up. I should have started okra early but cool weather didn't allow it.
Hello, I was trying to message you about how do you amend your soil? Your garden is beautiful with very large vegetable plants. What do you use as fertilizer? Thank you
We amend the area that we plant our callaloo in with organic matter which in most cases is broken down manure from our chicken coops and goat pens. You can buy pelletized chicken manure as well if you dont have access to fresh.
This video caught my 6 year olds eye and she said "I like this guy" 😂 So keep doing what you're doing! She is a Taurus and hard to please 😂😂
I'm fairly certain he doesn't do those labels. Sorry sorry to say. Many blessings everyone.

We sell them in our etsy shop! Our original stock came from Jamaica over 10 years ago! We grow and save seed from this heirloom every year.
