Religion tells us "We are ALL evil by nature", and We NEED to be forgiven for acting in "Normal Human Ways"! I BELIEVE this (Feeds) the Mental Health Industry, as it CREATES multiple Splits and Fractures in the human Psyche. To Hate/ Pity/ Feel Sorry for..... Humanity AND Yourself because "Humans are Evil by nature, and MUST be forgiven in order to know GOODNESS" This thought process could NEVER produce a Mentally "Intact" Human Being. I have LEARNED to COMPREHEND the fact that Religious believers have been "Indoctrinated" with these "Falsities" from childhood, Or, As a refuge from extremely troubled times in they're life's. Usually, from childhood, by 1.) Parents and extended family 2.) Church attendance/ teachings 3.) Friends/ friends family 4.) School 5.) TV, Radio..... Religious dedication can be a life saver for some. But, for most, it's a Serious "Mental Disability"!!! Then again,..... I could be "Indoctrinated" into Spirituality through all the Research/ Experience I have as a "Chosen" Spiritualist RAISED as a Christian
For me it just doesn’t make sense that there’s a higher power. Religions are a good way to control masses and that’s what they’re designed to do. Personally I was raised southern Baptist and grew up in church. The older I got and the more I actually paid attention to the stories the less it actually made sense and the more it seemed like a fairytale. Like the Noah’s arc story makes absolute zero sense. You can’t convince me there was a boat that could fit 2 of every animal on earth and separate the predator from prey for 150 days, let alone have enough food for each animal for that long. I have 6 dogs 2 large, 1 small and 3 medium breeds. Lol that’s a lot of food just to feed them. Also what about other planets or stars, what god just made them for decorations and never really mentions them like that 🤨🤣? Not to mention as many times as god as caused catastrophic events to wipe out life just cause he didn’t like their lifestyles. Doesn’t really sound very loving to me. Then condemning people who don’t believe in him(even tho there’s no proof of his existence) to an eternity of suffering in hell. There’s just very little that I can get behind in the book. Angels and demons are real in a sense tho. They’re within us, meaning every human is capable of being evil as much as they’re capable of being good. It’s basically your conscious. An afterlife is a thought to make people comfortable with death which is something that everyone is going to experience at least once in life. I believe there could be some form of afterlife tho considering our energy and conscious. I’ve seen ghost and unexplainable stuff. That being said through my experiences with psychedelics I believe there is a lot about our existence that we could never understand. That’s why I respect everyone’s religion and opinions on religion but it’s just honestly not for me and like I said I just couldn’t make sense of any of it the more I dove into it.
Not to mention all the wars and conquest in the name of god. The burning of ancient books in the name of god. Why there’s different religions depending on geographic location. I think if I had to pick the religion that made the most sense it’d be Buddhism. Pagans we’re demonized as well cause of religion and forced to give up their beliefs because they did not align with the Roman Catholic Church. “Witches” were those that lived off the land and basically were different that normal god fearing society created by the Roman Catholic Church. They took ergot which explains why they seemed to be practicing magic because it is a psychedelic. Check out hopsin-I’ll mind 7. It kinda explains my thought process on the matter
