for those who though Greg would've been a likely candidate for being human crystal gem, the show gives away very early on in the seasons (mostly between seasons 1 through 3) that he's decided to be neutral with the current gem problems. yea, he went with the gems on a number of missions, he had only helped in minor emergencies that involved saving Steven and Connie. He even states that he didn't wanna deal with anything magic or gem related, especially after Rose had died. It clearly shows that he'd just get in the way of the Gem's business
I think all of the Beach City citizens will join the CGs, and have their own arcs. Lars and Sadie dealing will marriage and being soon-to-be parents, Mayor Dewey finding who he is if he isn't a mayor, Connie dealing with the loss of her mother, Onion's mysteries being unveiled, Greg sacrificing himself, Marty regaining his respect in Greg's eyes, Ronaldo being serious for 2 freaking seconds, ect.
8:24 I'd bet money on the fact that those were humans with military training. Not a bunch of scrubs like Sadie and Connie. You could argue that the gems could train them, but in all seriousness they're terrible combat trainers. Pearl only trained Connie so she could be a meat shield for Steven and they didn't even bother to give Steven any kind of serious training. There is no way humans without military or Batman level training could compete with Jaspers or God knows what else their gonna run into.

Hey guys, i made some finale ideas for the dreaded days SU ends. 1.(get ready for the feels.) All the crystal gems to that point were attacked by homeworld and a full scale war raged. The crystal gem group is quite large at that point, and they were able to wittle the army down to just yellow diamond and a few crystal gems. (the rest are fine, just poofed) They fight valiantly, but the attacks are fruitless. Yellow diamond laughs and starts to monologue. Greg realizes that his friends and very own son will die. He hops into his van and plays his rendition of "let me drive my van into your heart" Shots of the attacks on Yellow diamond play, but are silent, with just Greg's singing. He launches off the top of the temple, and drives straight into yellow diamond's heart placed gem. Greg sacrificed himself to save the earth. Everybody is devastated. They build shrines for Greg, Pearl and Peridot rebuild his band from scraps and sit in it from time to time. The last shot of the show is Rose welcoming Greg to the afterlife. 2. (This one's happier) Same set-up as the last one, homeworld attacks beach city, Yellow diamond is the last one of the homeworld gems and Steven, Garnet, Pearl, and Ametheyst and rugged, but still fighting. They all collapse. Steven struggles to stand, and starts to sing, "We, are the crystal gems," but starts to sob and falls to the ground again. Garnet rises and signs, "and we'll always save the day" Pearl gets up and sings, "and if you think we can't," Amethyst finishes "We'll always find a way!" All over the world shattered Crystal Gems rise into the air and fly to the battle. The corrupted gems also fly to them. All shattered and corrupted gems return to normal and stand together on the battlefield. They sing together, "That's why the people, of this world, believe in, Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Steven!" They all charge to Yellow Diamond and take her down. After the reunion, the army returns to homeworld to start a new government. The Crystal Gems from previous episodes (Including those like Lapis and Peridot) stay on Earth, and they all live happily. 3.(Last one) The army invades, blah blah blah, both teams reduced to a few people. All diamonds are left standing, before Yellow Diamond destroys whats left of the Crystal Gems, Blue Diamond stabs her through the gem, White diamond ties to react but is also destroyed. Blue Diamond thanks the gems for their actions, and returns to homeworld with all the poofed homeworld gems to start a new government. Please leave more ideas in the comments!
HOLD UP, Ronaldo said the Diamonds could take any form.... in the episode Steven Floats, we saw an airplane with Pink Diamond's Emblem. Could Pink Diamond be on Earth and taken a human form and build a economical empire? One could say she owns her own airplane line, so that's possibly so! Did PD fake her death during the war and taken form as a human and still have the luxuries of power and high status while not being part of the Diamonds? I don't know obviously but would be interesting if something along the lines of this happened. @The Roundtable

Greg would be another good choice. He's already pretty much an unofficial member. He saved hundreds of lives patching up The Geode, Saved Steven and Connie (which in turn saved the ocean), helped The Gems get Lapis's message, knows how to use the warp pad and probably knows how to use a few other pieces of Gem tech too.
"The armor of the fallen" things makes tons of sense. Because Peri said that gems have there clothes welded to their bodies and so far we haven't seen a full suit of armor as a gem weapon, that means the armor must've been worn by humans
I really like this idea. I can see Sadie and Larz fighting along side, with Sadie of course doing most of the work with a scared Larz, haha. Maybe even the Kool KIds being a separate team too with Onion doing his own thing with them

Steven Connie, Lars Sadie, the Teens, Lapis and Lion of course Maybe even Jasper and Centipedle (Post Corruption Healing). Now That's the ultimate alliance right There Split into four Squadrons. Connie will definitely join! She's half of Stevonnie, the sword to Steven's shield. If any other humans join, I think it will be all of them, defending Beach City from an incoming of Homeworld Gems. Also, I get the joke that Onion's a wildcard - but, really, I believe he's just odd. He doesn't think things twice so he doesn't contemplate the morality of his actions. But he's still a little kid. I think he'd be terrified if some warrior aliens came around, and maybe fight if he was assured by the gun-wielding Vidalia that nothing's going to happen to her little boy.
I have a feeling Ronaldo will finally be the person to start asking the gems questions that have been long overdue. Ronaldo's character is a tool for answering and deciphering the curiosities that everyone wants to have confirmed and discovered. Knowing this show, I doubt his character will come into fruition any time soon.
Connie is so obvious that I initially expected this to be the top 5 aside from Connie. I'm not sure what Onion would do for the Gems. I mean, he's good at making mischief, but I'm not sure he could exactly poof a Ruby in a fistfight. And while he's capable of messing around with human technology a bit (stealing tickets and making airvent passages and whatnot), it's not to a sufficiently intricate extent that I'd expect him to make heads or tails of the simplest Gem technology. Also, he's what, five?

No Greg? He's already helped them a lot (Ocean Gem), and knows the crystal gems better than likely any human, even Steven. Greg may be old and a little overweight, but I think that he deserves to be on this list.
While I agree with everything in this video, I think Connie's already an honorary Crystal Gem. Though she hasn't joined the others on missions yet, she's felt like a supporting member of the team ever since "Sworn to the Sword" & "Nightmare Hospital."
It was actually confirmed by Rebecca Sugar HERSELF in a Q&A that Greg is going to die at the end of season 3 due to an ill-fated attempt to protect Steven. What Greg is protecting Steven from, I've no clue. But I think it has something to do with the episode "last one out" (or whatever the episode is called)
so people have been trying to figure out what perie's weapon is and most people are saying it cant be her limb enhancers because they didn't "poof" when she died. So going off of that have anyone noticed that rose's sword didn't poof when she "died". And unlike her shield we haven't seen Steven able summon it.

So adding Connie, that's sixteen. Trust me, go back to 8:43 and count the armor stands. There are SIXTEEN.

I've been wondering this for a while, but who is the gem that the temple is sculpted from? I've read someone's theroy about there being a fifth gem with the crystal gems and the temple being sculpted from the fusion of all five of them; it would make sense there being a fifth gem, since rose and the others are seen with a star on their clothing, and five hands being broken off the temple.
What I really hope happens is that when this big war happens the cluster senses what is happening and then it's gem shards fuse (by choice) into stable fusion gems and go back to the surface to help fight knowing that since Steven helped them they should help him protect the earth.
I feel like you really forgot Nanefua. She was a crazy good strategist on the fly in Beach Party, and obviously has some stamina, running around the corrupted Watermelon Tourmaline with Steven to distract it. Plus, with all of the Fish Pizza family members being parallels of the Crystal Gems, Nanefua is the parallel of Steven, the main character. But that's just my thoughts.

Connie will definitely join! She's half of Stevonnie, the sword to Steven's shield. If any other humans join, I think it will be all of them, defending Beach City from an incoming of Homeworld Gems.
Also, I get the joke that Onion's a wildcard - but, really, I believe he's just odd. He doesn't think things twice so he doesn't contemplate the morality of his actions. But he's still a little kid. I think he'd be terrified if some warrior aliens came around, and maybe fight if he was assured by the gun-wielding Vidalia that nothing's going to happen to her little boy.
I have a feeling Ronaldo will finally be the person to start asking the gems questions that have been long overdue. Ronaldo's character is a tool for answering and deciphering the curiosities that everyone wants to have confirmed and discovered. Knowing this show, I doubt his character will come into fruition any time soon.

I think Petey is more likely to help out the gems than Ronaldo - he just seems generally more down-to-earth and likely to get things done.

I'm not sure what Onion would do for the Gems. I mean, he's good at making mischief, but I'm not sure he could exactly poof a Ruby in a fistfight. It was actually confirmed by Rebecca Sugar HERSELF in a Q&A that Greg is going to die at the end of season 3 due to an ill-fated attempt to protect Steven. What Greg is protecting Steven from, I've no clue. But I think it has something to do with the episode "last one out" (or whatever the episode is called)

so people have been trying to figure out what perie's weapon is and most people are saying it cant be her limb enhancers because they didn't "poof" when she died. So going off of that have anyone noticed that rose's sword didn't poof when she "died". And unlike her shield we haven't seen Steven able summon it.

I've been wondering this for a while, but who is the gem that the temple is sculpted from? I've read someone's theroy about there being a fifth gem with the crystal gems and the temple being sculpted from the fusion of all five of them; it would make sense there being a fifth gem, since rose and the others are seen with a star on their clothing, and five hands being broken off the temple.
My pre-video predictions: Sadie the brute, Connie the brains, Onion the wildcard.

What I really hope happens is that when this big war happens the cluster senses what is happening and then it's gem shards fuse (by choice) into stable fusion gems and go back to the surface to help fight knowing that since Steven helped them they should help him protect the earth.
I feel like you really forgot Nanefua. She was a crazy good strategist on the fly in Beach Party, and obviously has some stamina, running around the corrupted Watermelon Tourmaline with Steven to distract it. Plus, with all of the Fish Pizza family members being parallels of the Crystal Gems, Nanefua is the parallel of Steven, the main character. But that's just my thoughts.
