This was the Sci-fi box I wish I had gotten if there were going to be Gargoyles in the box. I didn't get a single alien or predator, and I didn't even get any ETs. Instead, I got Defenders of the Earth, Flash Gordon, and other peg warmers. I probably waited just a little bit too long to order this while the first boxes got all of the aliens and predators.

I saw someone comment that they got aliens. I am very happy with this haul! Especially because I am a TMNT collector, so my budget doesn't really allow collecting outside of one theme. These blind boxes have been a great way to get a variety. Our pop culture box was my least favorite one, but my family loved it. We still have a horror box on the way, excited to see what we get! I ordered a Horror box to open since I had so much fun with the TMNT one. I am still hoping more TMNT boxes just suddenly pop up, but I figure if they don't by the 26th, they're not happening. Anyway, they should have called these boxes Gargoyles and Their Amazing Friends because every unboxing I have seen have had at least a third of them from the Gargoyles line. It does not bold well for the toyline in my book, which isn't surprising because they fumbled the ball with it. Supporting that line has been my biggest regret.

@@InnoVisionGames Yeah, Gargoyles is my second favorite American cartoon of all time, so I was initially excited when NECA announced they had the license. Then after the way they did the wings, force you to buy other figures to get closed wings, the amount of quality control issues I have experienced with this compared to every other NECA line, I lost all of my love for it. I pretty much played catch-up on what I needed last Xmas when Target did a big toy sale as I got each figure for like $20, but now I have them in a container put away because I needed the detolf space for my growing TMNT collection..

Have you considered writing in to them and let them know your thoughts? I don't mean in a angry tone, but just to provide honest feedback. It may be a waste of time, but you'd be surprised, I have seen honest feedback transform the way people do business. Thanks for sharing 🙏

BTW, if you do get Lexington and open him, make sure you heat him up before you pull him out of the package. I, and several others, had his arm break off at the elbow when trying to remove him from the tray.

According to the 2014 documentary, Atari: Game Over, about 10% of the 1300 Atari games recovered from the landfill were ET. So maybe 130 or so ET games are worth anything significant. The game is often cited as one of the worst of all time and one of the biggest commercial failures in video game history because the development studio was given 5 weeks to complete it before the Christmas season. It’s been frequently referenced and mocked in popular culture as a cautionary tale about the dangers of rushed game development and studio interference. Currently the Pricecharting website has the value of loose copies listed at about $9, complete copies at around $50, and sealed new copies at about $100. On average eBay sold comps and currently available copies reflect those prices.
