This is a really awesome build-a-figure, I'm actually glad he's bigger. I love this dark father wave all the characters are so super cool. I also like how transparent McFarlane is with his "build a figure" waves. but some time with other figures he dos i'm not so sure where the price point is comeing from. with Marvel Legend one really doesn't know where the price of the figure ends and the Builder figure part starts. And some figures in each wave don't even come with a part. Don't get me wrong! I like Marvel Legends, but something fucked up is going on with hasbro and it dosnt seem to be geting any better. BUT I do like what McFarland is doing . And I know the sizes are different but they're so cool I just fudge it and mix them up with the other figuers i collect. Why not? Let just have some FUN wile we are here, Right?! lol Let's just get the things we like and enjoy it😀
The Dark Father is one of my favorite Mcfarlane BAFs so far. Bane was good, but this one is excellent. On par with the Mafex Dark Knight Triumphant figure 😎👏
Your comment of the face having more than one expression depending on what direction he's looking is an excellent and accurate observation, I totally agree with that very much and probably gonna buy the Superman just to get the arms (Superman is my least fave of the 4) But getting that specific full BAF will be cool, Batman is just the best damn character in the realm of Hero type comics (And it's awesome how many Batman figures McFarlane has made, I've got 13 different Batman, Plus The Batman Who Laughs and The Devastator, Cyborg, Darksied, The Robin King and a few more) The Death Metal Wonderwoman is the most regal and bold looing version of her ever made in my opinion, Great figure reviews !!!
so funny story, i was having trouble building mine because the arms are a bit difficult to insert, and came here to this video to maybe find some tips. But as i was noticing your build it turns out I have a misprint on the right hand. It failed to have a proper thumb and index finger that i thought was intentional. It is a bit sad that i got a bad print, but honestly they look almost amputated that it seems kinda cool like that.
Enjoyed the review. Finally got the wave. Was thinking opening and building dark father. I don't want another issue with cape and have to glue it down. Like Atrocitus shoulder pads. Had to glue it down. Soon as you start posing shoulder pads comes off..

I doubt it, mostly cuz this Darkfather is tall, and I would expect DKR Batman to be stocky at the normal 7" scale. Love that grey and blue though, I'd love to see a classic 70s Batman.
Anyone know how to fix hole in batman darkfather body? Like i got from the box they diagonal so the hand looks weird where his right arm to high and left one lower
