Hi Victoria xxx Thank you ! Thank you ! for your lovely video xx adored every minute xx I absolutely love that your so real, honest and kind xx I enjoyed every minute xx loved watching bits at a time knowing I had more to continue with xx Thank you and Congratulations on achievement of your teaching xx ❤️❤️❤️
Another great wrap-up video Victoria! Do so love these longer videos and had you playing throughout my day today as I did my Sunday jobs. Thank you and hope you have restful August lovely lady 🥰
so glad you loved You Made a Fool of Death! the vibes are just perfect - I read Magnolia Parks recently and it felt quite similar in terms of the decadence, although much less steamy 💖 Cornwall looks absolutely incredible. enjoy your week with Gary and enjoy the readathon! it looks like so much fun 🐑
thanks for another lovely video, Victoria. Two hours (or more!!) is great for me; I just watch it in stages over the course of the week and enjoy it all. I really enjoy hearing you talk about books and about the bits of your life as well. I was so curious to hear your thoughts on Twyford Code. I actually liked a lot of aspects of it. it wasn't my favorite, so I fully respect your annoyance, but I had a much better time! 🐑
Love love love the long vlogs, please keep them coming 😊 I'm sorry, I had to LOL at Agatha Crispie 🤣 Cornwall is the best, the place you stayed looked gorgeous 🤩 Happy birthday month 🎉 And not forgetting... 🐏🐑🐏🐑
@@WhatVictoriaRead oh, fab idea 😁 I tried my first bubble tea last week, seeing as you rave about them and now I'm waiting for a whole collection of "make it at home" bubbles and syrups 🤣
Totally agree about the repetition in 56 Days - it was odd to have so many of the same full conversations again. I also agree that CRH books are good for when you're reading them but definitely ones you leave behind for the next person.
🐑 I love listening to you Victoria - I had to turn you up to hear over the hoover as you kept me company on my upstairs deep clean. Enjoy a well deserved rest lovely lady! 🏖️
A joy to watch as always and you helped me through some craft event planning I had to do for work! So glad you enjoyed You Made a Fool of Death with your Beauty, I read it a while ago and still think about it now 🐑 🐑
Those charity shops looked good! You will have to take me some time!! I love the way you describe Catherine Ryan Howard! I think she's becoming a real marmite writer that you either love or hate. I think I loved it because of the claustrophobia of it and covid but actually ... now I dont think I remember any of it. Ooo the house hunt sounds good! Not an author ive read, or really heard anything about before I don't think? Agatha Cripsies sounds like a great reading snack :P Did I read a different twyford code to everyone else?? Like seriously?? What did I see in it that everyone one else doesn't?? I thought it was really clever in that it was showing how literacy like changed how he felt about things? I dont know, maybe I read it when I was on my strong painkillers? Ohhh I hated how to kill men and get away with it! I thought it was trying to be sweetpea but was just like a bargain basement retelling :P But as we've discovered re the above, I have no authority to talk about books anymore haha. Ok Im an hour in so im taking a break and I'll come back later! Hope you appreciate this essay :P
🐑Yay for making it to the summer holidays (and managing camp! that sounded challenging - though fun, I'm sure!) Totally get what you mean about A Certain Hunger - it was so beautifully written in other places and then weirdly choppy with very noticeable phrases repeated just a few paragraphs/pages apart. Glad you enjoyed You made a fool out of death with your beauty - definitely making me want to reread!
Have really enjoyed watching this today! I've watched it in bits, and it's like you've kept me company all day 😁 I'd highly recommend The Echo Wife by Sarah Gailey if you haven't read that. I enjoyed it more than Just Like Home personally! Looking forward to 5 hours of August content! I hope you have a lovely summer holiday and manage to properly relax before September x 🐑
Yay for enjoying another agatha christie! I do tend to enjoy the poirot mysteries more than the miss marple ones more. In random miss marple mysteries there is a bit of sexism that suddenly crops up. But not every single one?? It surprises me too. Goddess & heroines 🎉🎉 Oh no for not liking the twyford code either :/ SPOILERS: I was so frustrated with how long the murder took to happen in the appeal, so the fact that there is no murder at all in this would have infuriated me so I am glad I didn't read more 🙈 A shame that a certain kind of hunger was just okay. I have ophelia ever after and as a YA contemporary reader I think I'll have fun with it. Hope you enjoy family lore 😇 Yayy join the you made a fool of death with your beauty hype train!! and akwaeke emezi hype train!! Their writing is always perfect for their genre.
Fantastic long video, watched in chunks throughout the day. Completely agree about Twyford Code - I DNF'd after 130 pages. Like the sound of Family Lore, another to add to my list. When will be getting a What Victoria Read bookmark? Hope you are loving the holidays. Gorgeous dogs BTW 🐑
I know the feeling of anxiety. I can get it really bad, but having my husband around is a big help he grounds me and just talks to him about anything calming me down . Great vlog as normal Victoria even my husband knows who you are because if he walks into the room and your vlogs or videos are on the TV he say oh she is the teacher. I hopefully do it right, ordering bookmarks from Chloe filled to form in then nothing so I am guessing she emails me for payment.
Yes, she will send you a payment request shortly, hope you enjoy the bookmarks! ☺️ and that’s so funny that your husband knows me as the teacher, I love it! Anxiety is tough but I’m glad you have your husband to help ground you ☺️💛
I haven’t read the Twyford code but loved The appeal and hadn’t heard good things about twyford code so I watched the spoiler part of your video glad I did because now I won’t be bothered to read it ….august is my birthday month but I turn 60 🎉 …. So happy birthday to you …. 📚💞📚
Thank you for the birthday wishes ❤… I hope you have a happy one as well 🥂🍾…. Must say I enjoy your videos so much and luv that they are long , very relaxing watching them 📚💞📚
I was wondering if you have watched Poirot with David Suchet. Sometimes seeing a character and then reading a story about them helps. I think I enjoy reading the Murder She Wrote books now because I envision Angela Lansbury while doing so. Just a thought. 😊Or you can just skip them lol 📚💕
I have been watching you on and off day! So thank you for keeping me company 😉 You poor thing with that bruise … ouch!!! I think Sarah Gailey uses They/Them pronouns just as a heads up ❤️ 🐑🐑🐑
🐑 woohoo 2 hrs for a sunday =perfect. Great vlog as always ! Enjoy your month off xxx
Thank you! ☺️💛

I adore these longer videos! I spread it out over my Sunday (I’m in western Canada) so you keep me company throughout the whole day.
Yay! Thank you! ☺️💛

Thank you! ☺️💛
You seem like such a truly lovely human. I really enjoy watching your videos, especially these monthly vlogs! 🐑
Thank you! ☺️💛
Back to say I also agree with you about Haven't They Grown, I gave up after 20 odd pages.
Glad it wasn’t just me!
Am I in heaven? This video is almost 2 hours!
Thank you! ☺️💛
Loved it too !! ❤❤

I agree with every word you said about The Twyford Code, it was so disappointing and I'm still not sure I know what happened at the end!
Glad it wasn’t just me!! ☺️
I have 56 days on my kindle and haven't got to it yet. I am still intrigued to read it and see what I think of it.
A spoonful of murder sounds fun 😊
