You don’t go up to a $20M property and ask the owner “I want to ask you some questions” you say something like “Hi I’m doing a TH-cam video on your suburb would you like to make some commentary on how nice your house is” or something like that. Otherwise you just sound like a policeman questioning the owner about a murder!

The first guy so right, everything has doubled in value since 2020. 2 beds now over a million. Even if you find one you still got to compete to get it. The building he is living in is called Signature which is arguably one of the best buildings in Broadbeach. A 1 bed in there starts at $800K. Just crazy what is going on in the GC market now. Beautiful place but this are highly over-valued properties for an area that is still pretty small.

Facts. I got a mate who lives in the estate and one day we went for a bike ride an sat outside a vacant block of land, 5 minutes later we had security called on us because one of the owners in the area though we were looking sus and wanted us removed. It was such a hassle to prove to the security guard that we actually lived on the island.
Dubai is one of the safest cities so it's going to be more hospitable. Goldy's crime is just getting worse so people are on edge a bit more.
Me and my wife use to drive around sovereign Island on a beat up Toyota Camry and attend open house auctions an 8 bedroom mansion then tell the agent we are not interested we are looking for a 20 bedroom mansion then watch his face in confusion as we drove off in our shiity ass car 😅
you might need to work on your approach. Show a little more charm or personality so you don't come across as an entitled influencer that's there to prank people if you want to gain their trust. Just an observation

I went to high school on the Gold Coast but lived in the hinterland. It was a criminal haven and a shit hole. The beaches are crowded and shit. Has been since the late 70s. Good luck if you want to live there

Come down to the City of Onkaparinga Suburbs, located in the South of Adelaide. We have a football club called South Adelaide and haven't won a premiership since 1964. You should come down and make a doco of the club.

Back in the 90 s all those properties on Sovereign Island were empty and half built you could not give them away. The Gold Coast is outta control it is completely ruined now. It used to be beautiful.
I built the front door for the third house years ago. The guy that owned it back then died of pancreatic cancer not long after. The house still looks to be in mint condition. I wonder if his widowed wife recently sold it to the guy who has his knickers in a twist. Hmm I guess I'll never know.
Interesting the Baltimore property finally sold. The owners had been trying to sell that for 12 + years. Interesting it sold for 14 when they had it listed for $20 million
