Loved it - the NC DCT is for sure the bike for all occasions. Commute tour and traffic light GP ( and it has a frunk !) Nice video enjoyed it. I think it helps to have owned a good range of bikes to know just how good the NC DCT is.
I had an NC750S DCT a few years ago and really enjoyed it. It was the 2016 model and already had a couple of revisions over the original NC700. I've not ridden the latest incarnation but would like to. I chose the "S" model due to it's lower seat height but I know Honda lowered the seat height on the latest X models which would suit me more. It would not replace the Classic 350 (which has a special place in my heart now) but would be a better bike for longer journeys. Thanks for the vid 👍
Hi Philip, I liked the S and your right 20 onward just kept the x looks but are really just suited to Motorway and A B roads, and like you say you have to ride the bike you have for it's purpose, the NC takes me to work and travel, but it won't be the last bike I fall for👍👍👍
Hilarious. I filtered to the front here in Tempe Arizona on my NC750X when a guy on a sport bike filtered a lane over. I always accelerate hard out of that spot in between the cars and was a bit surprised to see him back in the mirror with the cars.
Do motorbikes need to do MOT in the UK and Europe? I'm in the USA and planning on bringing my NC to the E.U. when I move there this year. Thing is I got the LeoVince decat pipe and muffler. Sounds great now but I'm worried about doing MOT in the E.U. if I don't have my CAT. I did keep it so I can put it back on if necessary. Anyways if anyone knows please let me know. Thanks!
Hi Veliksami, yes we have MOT in UK I don't know what they do in the likes of France Germany, but it will be simular, we have emmision laws so you will need to put the cat on, also make sure the muffler is for road use .👍👍👍

As for my muffler, yes it is road legal and even included a wallet card with the approval info and some kind of a sticker which I assume needs to be placed somewhere on the bike? It really is a quality muffler, it's stainless on the body and the end part is real carbon fiber. I did the decat without worrying about emissions because in the state of Florida there are NO inspections for any motor vehicle or bike, it simply does not exist 🤣 Hopefully someone else might chime in about E.U. countries. Can't personally see the attraction of a DCT. The whole experience for me is all about the clutch, but hay, you ride you and I'll ride me - ride safe my friend
10k I normally would expect 12-18, and I do check it, I think it's the same across all manufacturers, there saving money on the cosumables that they know we have to replace ourself🤔👍👍

inline 4 there power comes in like the r6 8k up on revs, if he would of got the revs high at lights it would of been bit different, but he would of had to keep the front wheel down👍👍👍

@@birchwoodbiker i commute daily by bike throughout the year into a couple of major cities. In the winter, I don't see more than one bike and oftentimes none. In the summer it's into double figures. The simple fact is that, for most riders, a motorcycle is a toy for a few weekends in summer. That's the reason motorcycling has so little impact in the UK, politically. We're about as relevant to transport as the pogo stick appreciation society.
looked at your vids I watch loads of riders uncovering won't come out in rain, all my bikes have been used for commute and fun and always will be, what are you riding now, you should get a couple more vids up

good rider on the 636 would of thrashed, the low down torque on the NC DCT is what makes the bike👍👍👍
I agree. I'm lucky enough to own 3 bikes and the NC is my go-to machine. So versatile.
