- This beautiful Fisherman's Rib baby blanket is incredibly soft and textured, and is a great modern project for any baby gift. It has a built in Garter Stitch edging which helps the ribbed middle section stand out even further.

Thank you for sharing this tutorial it has shown me how easy fisherman's rib is to do. I will definitely be making this baby blanket.♥❤❤
Hope you enjoy 🧶😀
I've never seen anyone pearl like that!
I started making this and was really enjoying it until i realised i had dropped a stitch, or maybe more then one, and then panicked and couldn't recover. As i was enjoying it, I will try this again after doing another of your blankets. Your explanations are very clear and i've enjoyed knitting 3 of your other named designs and intend to try them all at some point.
Your an amazingly efficient knitter!
Exactly what I am looking for! This even works with my eastern european way of knitting without having to reorient stitches!
Great tutorial, I am new to knitting and can't wait to make this blanket for a coworker. I think I will try it with a chunky bernat blanket yarn. Thank you for going slow enough for us newbies to understand!!
Currently working on this one, I love how soft and squishy it feels! I slip the first stitch of each row purlwise and it gives it a nice clean edge that looks braided.
I don’t know why I didn’t slip a stitch on this one tbf, I normally slip the last stitch as I find I get more consistent tension but for some reason on this blanket I didn’t do it 🤣
Another wonderful tutorial - thank you so much!
I love Fisherman's Rib it looks so ..... I don't know neat? bottom line - I love it!
Oh my gosh! This one is adorable ❤
Thank you, great pattern for baby.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I am definitely, going to have a go at making one today.
💋
Yay! Happy knitting! 🧶🧶
I made one and it worked out perfectly. Thank you for a great pattern.
This is so pretty - I have some ice yarn that I have needed a project for and this may be it!!
Sounds perfect!
Love a simple pattern that looks and feels fab! Looks like this is one such pattern! Thanks!
Thank you! Happy Knitting 🥰
Thank you for sharing, love the tutorial. 💜
Hi Laurelin, beautiful tutorial. Thank you for sharing . It's a lovely pattern. I will add this onto my to do list, now that I've conquered the purl stitch finally. Enjoy your day x
Thank you! 🥰
LOVE this! I Love Fisherman's Rib, makes a nice, squishy scarf as well, and it's a nice warm stitch/pattern for winter. the way I do it, it looks the same on both sides. Thanks for a great tutorial!
This is very clever. Thanks for sharing. ♥️
It’s a pleasure :)
Great tutorial! Do you think this pattern would work with double stranded yarn and swapping to a new colour, one strand at a time for an ombre effect?
I haven’t tried it but why not give it a go with a small sample! I’d love to hear how you get on if it works :)
Thank you!!
Thank you for the tutorial. Does the blanket look the same on both sides?
Yes :-)

Hi,

I used a long tail cast on for this and did t struggle.
Beautiful what kind of yarn did you use. And where can I buy it. Thanks
Hi! I used Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK in the Shade Lagoon Blue
