New unit WRAITH: a heavy aircraft equipped with multiple floating cannons that can cause a lot of damage at medium and short range.
Balance adjustments
MARKSMAN has a new Tech [Aerial Specialization]: Increase ATK against aerial units by 75%, and increases range by 30 when attacking aerial units.
The price of FORTRESS's [Rocket Punch] is adjusted from 250 to 300
Bugfixes
Fixed an issue where some screen areas did not respond to clicks during the deployment phase.
Fixed multiple issues related to AI taking over surrendered allies.
Fixed multiple issues related to the chat.
Fixed many other issues.

Thanks for finding a good game with the new unit! I think that final round was won by the shielded fangs n_sacco added in the last round, effectively doubling the shots needed to kill his chaff.

That reminds me of an observation I had during my time with LoL. Strats would often come out of low and mid tier players experimenting with anything. High ranking players and teams are usually very focused on practicing existing stuff. High rank "experimenting" was often polishing an existing low/mid idea to work at their ranking.
Ideas so strong they allowed a player to climb above their normal ELO would get picked up fast. Some good ideas needed a high ranking player to see a replay or a friend doing something to notice though.
There is also something similar in speedrunning communities. Glitch hunters vs speedrunners.
I have noticed similar behaviour in other games as well. As long as at least someone is inventing though, I don't mind who it is, as long as there is progress
Agreed. I also take the lesson that there are things to learn outside of the top levels of play too. It's hard to sift through though.
If you're curios. With Wraith, I'm getting a sense it'll depend on how potent set ups like in this video are. The "counter unit" dynamic isn't easy to pick up and likely won't spread up/down the ladder. If Wraith *also* has some ways to be a close out unit it'll see enough base play for it's niche to show up more. Though I also note it has very upfront burst profile which may make it really good at consistently getting exp for level ups.
i have been playing around with the wraith, i actually really like the wraith upgraded to slow enemy units down and have found it to be extremely useful against war factorys and crawler spams as two examples.
I haven't used it much as its expensive and countered with sniper (with the right upgrades) but its very useful with the debuff. Enjoying it so far
What's surprising me most: I lose the overview which Wraith belongs to which player! 🧐
Normally it is easy because blue units shot north, red units shot south. But Wraith always fire in all directions. 🤣

The wraith isn't cracked. I've had several games against them and they're extremely vulnerable to melting points because they're outranged very easily.
I swear people are either saying they are cracked or garbage, like honestly they are FINE. Like every other unit in the game they have things they are strong against things they are weak to, and techs to make them better at different things
Yeah anyone who thinks any unit is either too weak or too strong just suffers from a lack of imagination. Everything is powerful and everything can be countered with the right strats

You could guarantee some wraith games by playing them yourself.
Yeah, will try to get a few matches in later today. But will probably take forever to get a good match where they are also good/ do something. Just having them and they end up doing nothing will not be interesting to watch. Don't have all day to play at the moment, so finding a match was definitely still a lot quicker
Played 5 games today, all were standard range matches where wraith is completely useless :< need more aggro players.
@idlecub big fan of this unit but yeah i felt like it was mostly a defense unit, and the only times I could really make it work while forcing was armor field repair so they'd be like tanks, but it was still sub optimal
@@idlecubnah nah, what I have been doing is classic rhino crawler rush builds and using degen beam to make the crawlers more effective, and if they hit you with the beam back go into overlords with photon emission to make your guys immune

Wraith is strong but easy to counter making it a balanced unit.
Somehow when I see this (I had the same with warfactory), I'm not excited at all and all I think is how this unit (for me at least) doesn't doesn't fit Mechabellum. I've been having less and less fun with the game, and this unit only reinforces that. All other units just fire one shot at time and the last 2 new units have multiple canons and fire at the same time. It just doesn't feel (to me) they fit into line up properly and the game will end up only revolving around those units. I don't know, I could be wrong. Lately only playing couple games a week vs couple games a day before and when i play now, its not that satisfying.
This wraith crap is lame and boring.
sadly yes :( not that great of a unit maybe only for its aura in mid late game vs aggro
