do u remember trying to holecount samuels bot? and figuring out pto, full park... how to have a fast clear... all those days building robots and helping each other. full volume is the goat, ill never forget the ppl i met and the experiences i had
I don’t think there will ever be another team like Samuel’s. Good videos, good at vex, open to sharing but not to open, Samuel is the best (sorry capped pin)
@@ultranoobthing I get that pto isn’t necessary but pneumatics might be because of full park, so far I’ve seen 2 ways to full park and using pneumatics is one of them
i was watching the video and i noticed that you have the intake wall on your lift mechanism. how does your lift not collapse in on itself? do you have any plates seperating them because i don’t see any.
Great job and lots of details! Thank you very much for sharing. Behind the intake, are you using shafts and mini standoff connectors to support the force of rubber bands? I don't have that many mini standoff connectors. Do you have any suggestions for replacements?
Nice bot how did you make it so the arm can easily enter over supply zone. We use the rubberbands and run into with the angled beams and its so hard to get it over
2:1 intake🙀! For a longlong time we thought your are using 3:1, since it is so fast.
Just insane friction control
It’s 3:1, sry we had a typo in the end
Lol
All our teams yesterday were like "wait maybe we should look at 2:1 instead of 3:1 since samuel did it!?!?!?!"
Where is the 3:1 gear ratio, I can’t see how it is 3:1

Those shocks at the edge of the intake are genius
anyboby like to explain what the shocks do exactly? to slow down when you get to an edge perhaps?
basically if u have non shocks and stiff things and run into somewthing, they most likely fall off, the shock prevents that
Thx a lot. We have been following your design for the whole season. Give the kids so many inspirations. Amazing details.
Thanks so much for making this my team and I got so much out of it. (Elevator was the thing that didn't work but we fixed it after this video).

Nice reveal! Is there a specific reason you aren’t using 4 motor intake and lift yet or is it just because you aren’t using pneumatics?

Do you have any suggestions for a better intake? Currently my bot is kind of slow with the 3:1 but too weak with the 4:1.
If you want the cubes to go up fast, use 4 to 1, but if you don’t want it to jam, use 3 to 1
where did you get the orange pieces in the middle for your purple compartment?
what are all the gears that u guys used on the intake. Pls we need this.

how many studs apart is your bottom roller and the floor?
YOOOO

hey huge fan will you make a vid where we can see your rubber band wall with the intake taken off because ours keeps exploding
Rotators can move up(we attached them w/ 1s), but not moving up when in contact with purple blocks. How to fix?

how does your third roller spin so fast and strong with the small gears connecting it?

we use pins at the side and we use a connector to connect it in the end.

How do you have so little friction on the intake?
at 00:50 there is a vertical expansion (with rubbber bands)- not clear why? I presume after expanding it is still below 15". Amazing work BTW!

How did u do a 2:1 gear ratio for outtake

Since it's a 24 tooth gear, it makes the linear travel almost 2 times faster, so it's basically 2:1 gear ratio

24 tooth gear instead of 12 tooth, basically makes it 2 times faster
