While I love my KW cages, please be aware that their shipping is extremely high, and they surprised me with a $45 customization fee just for changing carpet flooring to vinyl. They are not a consumer-friendly company and offer absolutely no discounts for the average person. I wish I could find a similar cage from a more reputable company, but until then, this is the brand I am forced to recommend. If interested, I encourage you to call/email KW Cages, tell them you saw their beautiful cages shown by Hook's Hollands Ohio Holland Lops and inquire why it costs $45 simply to place a piece of vinyl in a cage instead of carpet and why they offer no discounts for someone buying 20 cages. Ridiculous.
As soon as I saw your clean cages I was like "omg this is glorious!" Your barn is so clean and very organized I love it! Oh and your bunnies are beyond cute!!
I know this video is rather old and you might not see this, but I just want to say thank you so much for taking amazing and proper care of your bunnies. I'm usually strongly against breeders/rabbitry's. I rescued my bunny from a terrible breeder, my holland lop had mites, a painfully terrible bladder problem, pee stains, and splayed legs. She's will most likely have arthritis because of how she was breed (her spine is terrible). But she's so happy to be free roam and is litter trained. So I'm always skeptical of seeing bunny breeders. But I definitely support you. They look properly loved and cared for and I love that you let them run around and take them outside. It means a lot to me and gives me a piece of mind that their are true bunny lovers out there!!
WolvesDogs 1000% agree! I got one of my bunnys when my daughter went to college and the other from a rescue.. to bond with my female. The dedication, professionalism and compassion that HHR has should be an example to ALL rabbitrys 😉
We are not all bad. I love my bunnies and care for them just as well. I’m dreaming of my bunny room that will be very nice like Hooks. For now that have it pretty well in a nice enclosed, used to be outdoor kitchen with a heater. My bunnies also love their outdoor play area called bunnyland. I would say happy healthy rabbitries don’t make the news. I would say for the most part bunny people do well by their bunnies. The bad breeders make for better news.
I'm a breeder and I keep my rabbits in a roughly 6x12 colony pen with things to run around and go under. We aren't all bad, I care for my bunnies the best I can.
Very professional. I appreciate that. Especially in the rabbit breeding business, I’ve seen way to many dirty and horrid conditions from rabbit breeders. Your awesome!
Our family loves your new cages!! (this is from Emmy's parents) in Akron!! Sam said the same thing you said, the new set-up/cages really open up the whole room. Beautiful!!
We do love our Emmy Girl!! And you were right about her loving to burrow. She stands up on her back legs straightening her blanket, then somehow gets underneath it and peeks out at us, looking like a Halloween ghost! Too funny!!
Beautiful! Nicer for their feet. I like the cable spool idea; I would just make sure it wasn't treated with creosote like some railroad ties have been in the past.
We have a Male Holland Lop named Blaze (aka Murphy's Lops "Snickers" ) that we showed until a year and half ago. My daughter found your channel on youtube and is hooked!! You do a phenomenal job educating and showing the day in the life of a bunny, as well as, the dedication and care it takes to keep bunnies happy and thriving. Thanks for sharing this with us! As for FB live videos, you could set up your phone as a mobile hotspot and connect your laptop/computer to the phone. Look up on line for details. Awesome, clean, and super organized rabbitry barn!
Thank you so much for the compliments! Murphy's lops are pretty amazing, especially for those who want to show. My colored Hollands couldn't hold a candle to her torts in the show world! :) Thanks for the hotspot idea. I thought about using the cellular on my phone instead of Wifi, but I only have 5GB of data per month. TH-cam will have to suffice until something faster is available out here in the boonies.
Well that was quick! I love the cages. I want a new bun. I want to look into buying a two-story cage from KW before hand and was curious as to how you've set things up. This video was super informative!
Hey there! Just found you and love how ur such a good bun mama! I'm guessing you've had it answered long ago, but in case you still need help with getting wifi out there; I can suggest what I've done. If ur good, okedoke then and thank you for sharing this part of ur life. I saw something about 'not getting bullied,' and really appreciated that. I honestly don't think I could ever do vids bc of how many critical folks are out there! Awesome to see another woman sorta standing up. 💜🤗
We actually just installed a tower on our barn so we could upgrade our wireless internet, and I now have a router out in the bunny barn with mediocre internet speed. Thank you though! :) Yes, the bullying is always an issue, sigh.
Wow, these bunnies are so lucky to have all this, my bunny would love to have this but unfortunately I don't have the space you have. Plus your doing a great job, just beautiful !.
Also I am not sure if anybody has already answered your question. But if I'm not wrong, all you have to do is get a tiny wireless router and connect it to your hardline. After that you just set it up with a laptop. You'll select a password if you want a private network. On Best Buy's website they have a Netgear wireless router that costs around $30.00 that works fairly well. Here's the link www.bestbuy.com/site/routers/wireless-routers/abcat0503002.c?id=abcat0503002
We already have a router in the house and a switch, which is where the barn's ethernet cable is attached. I didn't know if a network can have more than one router. I'm no IT professional, that's for sure! Thanks for your help!
You don't want multiple routers on your network. All you need is a wireless access point in/near your barn, connected to your wired network (ethernet). Just to confuse you - you can often use a router as an access point, but it is working in a different mode. I do this myself to extend the wireless network here. You use a different channel from your main wifi but the same SSID and password. [I am an IT professional BTW :-)] And awesome "bunny barn" - top luxury accomodation for rabbits. :-)
You're welcome. Thank you for your awesome bunny vids :-) The easiest way to achieve what you want is to buy a dedicated wireless access point and just follow the instructions - simples ;-)
I can't believe how beautifully set up you got everything and those rabbits are babies in yoir hands. Meaning, they're so calm!! I've never seen a rabbit like this!?! I have 1 but she drives crazy!! Running likes to get away -bites everything she's 10 months old but I guess that's just her personality very outta control.
Not sure if you've solved your Internet issue already. You can have multiple routers connect to the same network as long as you connect them using an ethernet switch. So you can just have a long cable running from your house to the barn and set up a router there to get wireless access. Also love your videos! I've owned a bunny for half a year now, and I took a lot of advice from your videos when I started. Big thanks!
Many thanks, Kevin! I actually discovered that my upload speed is terribly slow even not using WiFi (.69Mbps), so until they get a faster speed available way out here in the boonies, I'm stuck with editing videos and uploading I fear. Thanks again. :)
You could go Satellite. It is a lot more affordable than it used to be and the speeds are much faster on upload than you currently have. (1-5 Mbps) www.reviews.org/internet-service/best-satellite-internet-providers/ Exede appears to be the fastest. Also on the internet thing. Totally agree with Kevin. You can also use an AC outlet adapter that pushes your internet through your power lines (hard line like you have is best). I use a Linksys adapter for this and then run wires on the other side. Depending on the distance, you can get wireless routers with long range or use extenders... but that's also more radiation in your house. I dial my wifi router power down so that it just reaches my driveway, otherwise I can pick it up in my neighbor across the street's living room. Thank you for your bunny videos. We have a Holland lop, she's about 3 years old now and looks like some of your bunnies. You'll have to explain how your ship bunnies sometime.
Thank you very much! We have satellite internet now but from a local company - I like to support local businesses, and they have unlimited data. They are constantly expanding their "GenX" network that is about ten times faster for the same price, but we are still too rural to get a good signal (thinking this might be a different type of signal). For the price, I think I'll stick with my current provider and regular videos, but if our speed increases, I'll look into an extender/repeater of some sort. Thanks again!
awww they're so sweet :D i only have one rabbit he is 10 years old! i wanted to change his cage to a condo but his eye sight is really bad because of his age so i think that if i change his space he won't be able to figure out where to go (sometimes he has a hard time even to walk to his cage... he hits walls and furniture... he will hate me if i change his cage)
Your rabbitry is the best ive ever seen! I have seen rabbitrys where the buns cant even move. I have a holland lop buck that i will be breeding once he reaches proper age. I plan on starting a rabbitry in the future for hollands! I also have 2 rescues and a spayed mini lop!
For Wifi, Great vid btw and we love all the videos plus we have some hollands as well. What you can do, is you can go to the nearest tech/electronics store and then pick up a wifi router within in your price range and that has enough wifi range. Then you can plug it into the hardline/ethernet and you can set it up with a password using a computer. That should allow you to use Facebook Live or whatever your needs are.
hiya! LOVE THE BUNNIES!!!!!I used to have an English Lop when I was a teenager (I think she was an English Lop?!?) she was BIG she was as big as a cat, we lived in a Condo and she had a cage in my room for when I was at school or not home and for bedtime...other then that she was litter trained and jus ran around the house!!! Even up and down the stairs!!! her name was Muffles and she was grey and white and had the adorablest long floppy ears, she was a really really neat pet!!! As for your Internet issue you just need a wireless router, they aren't very expensive, Walmart or Best Buy or whichever electronic stores you have there should have them! LOVE YOUR BUNNY BARN!!! WOULD LOVE ONE OF YOUR BABIES!!!!But I'm in Las Vegas, Nv and it would be to far for the bunny to walk or hop here hehehe and not sure what my kitties would think 😯 love watching all the newborn bunnies!!!!! I'll have to definitely keep watching your videos!!!!! 😊
I called in my order, but I don't recommend that as the website charges cheaper shipping. You can either put your request in the notes or call after your order is placed I suppose.
Since you have a hard line run to your bunny barn you can use either a switch with wireless or a router with wireless. A switch is about $10 on Amazon.
It's hilarious to me that, with any pet who is usually caged, when you open their cage door the first thing they do is stick their head out and look down. It's like "Is the ground still there?! I gotta check!".
Angora rabbits are the only one you can really make money off of without selling the rabbit itself. Their fur is very expensive so you can get money out of it. It’s good since if you don’t cut off the hair it will become matted. So there is no point in not selling it when you HAVE to cut the fur.
Do the rabbits cages ever smell bad because of their pee? I'm looking into getting a holland lop but I'm afraid it might make my room smell (causing the bunny to go to the garage).
Emma Bourgeois - I agree with keeping it clean, we only have one bunny and his litter is way nicer to clean then our cat's! cat litter is pretty terrible...bunny litter mostly smells like the earthy pellet type you choose to use
I would venture to guess that rabbits would be the same as any caged animal. If properly maintained & cleaned often, the cages won't smell. They just require dedication. (Please correct me if I am wrong 😉)
EDIT: I'm sorry, I had missed that you said you already have a hard line out in the barn. If that is the case, then it is simple. All you need to do is get another wi-fi router & connect it to that hard line in the barn. The only problem that I think you might run into would be if both routers were set up to use the same IP address on your local network, the second router wouldn't get an internet signal. So, you would have to configure the second router to have a different IP address using a computer or wireless device connected to it. EDIT: Mark X's answer below is probably simpler. If you set up a wireless access point instead of a router, I think you wouldn't have to worry about conflicting IP addresses. I believe that most routers can be set up to be used as a basic access point. My original comment follows: You've probably got your answer to the wi-fi question by now, but here are my 2 cents: A wi-fi extender would probably work fine. You just have to place it between the house & the barn somewhere, if there were a place where it would be out of the weather. There may be models that are powerful enough to extend the reach all the way from the house. But I am not sure about that. Personally, I would prefer to run a hard wire from the router in the house to the barn, and set up a second wi-fi router there. That would ensure a very strong signal. P.S. I came across your videos because my girlfriend LOVES Holland Lops. She had a gray one named Jasmine.
Wow, thank you so much for the extensive reply! I'm currently waiting for our ISP to install new equipment and move us to a faster signal first, as we're very very v.e.r.y slow right now. :)
Hello i'm from belgium next to the netherlands i have some nhd rabbits and im going to have litter this week ! I'm verry excited ! i have now 14 rabbits dwarfs and nhd's .If you want i can let you know if the babies are born well! sorry for bad englisch !
Cool, good to know. Also sorry for bothering you so much today. You've been great at getting back to me and I've replied like 20 zillion times. Thanks.
If you have a hardline out to the barn, I'd say use a wi-fi extender hooked up to it if you're using a phone or tablet. If a computer use a switch and hook up another ethernet to that computer. I'm not the most intelligent on the predicament but as long as your Internet is well off then the stream should work fine. (My apologies if I'm incorrect I've only been involved with networking for a few months).
Hook's Hollands - Ohio Holland Lops If your internet speed is around 30 Megabits/second the stream should be just fine. Maybe even 20 Megabits. We used to have 5 Megabits and it was just horrible to do anything. (Just in case you don't know 30 Megabits = 3 Megabytes per second).
That's all Greek to me, but I just did a speed test, and our upload speed is only .69 Mbps, so I don't think it will work. Thanks for your help though! :)
That's so pretty I adore it !! And my mom bunny had another litter of 5 Now she has 8 babies!! They are so adorable but we have to separate the dad and is it true if that bunnies can breed through the cage or no cause i heard that we have to put the dad in a cage to see the mom.
What temperature is good for baby rabbits and what temperature is too cold /hot for them? I just lose 4 bunnies this week I don’t want to lose the 2 I have left , that was way too painful
Love your bunny barn set-up, lucky bunnies! Would you be able to put a link on where you get your bunny accessories from like the feeders and water dispenser? We love your lock-on feeder.
I had the single Villas made without bottom wheels so they stack well on the double Villas. I also use three bungee straps to secure the top Villa and have never had problems with them moving.
I don’t think you’ll see this, but if you do, a way to get a rabbit to stop peeing in the cage, and go in the litter box, you can put puppy pads because there is an attractant in it that will make them go on the puppy pad. Hope this helps! It really works for my Flemish Giants. On question, do you show these rabbits?
Do they eat the puppy pads? That would be my only concern, as rabbits chew anything they can. I used to show my rabbits but didn't enjoy the atmosphere.
I just rescued a Holland Lop with a splayed back leg and a slightly splayed front foot. They were going to kill her just because she was different. She is active and healthy. She seems really happy and loves attention and petting. Do you have any advice on making things better for her? How can I clean her ears and butt without stressing her? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I want her to have the very life that she can. I keep her loose in my bedroom while I am home. She loves to follow me around to see what I am doing. It makes me happy to feel needed. My children are grown and they don't need me anymore. I consider all of my pets to be my children.
Totally - this decision was made completely for the bunnies' happiness and health. It makes a LOT more work for me, but they have solid floor cages, more room, and it opens up the barn for a larger exercise area. Plus, the babies should be well on their way to being litter trained when they go to their new homes.
Hook's Hollands - Ohio Holland Lops That's really admirable, its very rare to find breeders that care so much about the happiness of their animals. The place where I got my lops and Netherlands dwarfs was horrific. She had them all in a dark shed with no air conditioning in the middle of summer, and it looked like she hadn't picked up the feces in several weeks (NOT AN EXAGGERATION) I'm having horrible flashbacks thinking about it now, this was a whole 6 years ago 😖 We bought two Netherlands dwarfs and felt so bad for the rabbits that we went back to buy two holland lops. Which is a bit dumb in hindsight because we were really just supporting that treatment even more, but I'm glad that they're able to live a much safer happier life now. Sorry, didn't mean to ramble haha
Thank you. I have been to two different breeders' barns that are just as you described - both smelled so badly of ammonia, had no sunlight, and tiny cages. Even more, they would give their culls to snake breeders. I just can't do that - if I can't use the bunny for breeding, I sell it as a pet to a carefully selected pet home. To each his own, I suppose.
Hello, was interested in purchasing a bunny villa but I was wondering why you purchased a 2 story and added a 1 story to the top instead of purchasing a 3 story? Would love your help and feedback. Thank you!
The third story is for a separate bunny, but the 3-story Villa has holes through the floors so doesn't work as well for two separate bunnies. Plus, I wanted the option to unstack the top cage if needed and move it. If I just had one bunny, I'd love a 3-story cage for it. Any taller is really hard to clean unless you're super tall. :)
Nice new cages and bunnies! May i ask why you changed cages? I thought your old ones were really cool! especially with the waste disposal system! Also, you can maybe look for wifi extenders on amazon? I have one and you only need to plug it to an outlet and set it up to connect to your wifi or you can even use your ethernet cable to it. I'm not super tech savy but I know there's thousands of reviews for the top wifi extenders that's sure to help you out!
The old cages were a lot easier to keep clean, but I wanted larger cages with solid floors for the bunnies' comfort and to help with litter training since most of my bunnies ended up sold as pets instead of to other breeders.
These are solid floor cages, so their weight is evenly distributed without the pressure points created by wire floors. But yes, once litter trained, they earn their fleece pillows and resting mats. :)
Bowls get filled with fur throughout the day, and bunnies certainly don't need to be ingesting more fur that could lead to stasis. Even when cleaned daily, the bowls get messy with fur (and hay and whatever else the bunnies like to drop in them). The bottles provide fur-free water, and the bunnies can even press their mouth against the ball bearing and let it drip out into their mouths. Easy peasy.
If you have a hard line Cat 5 ethernet cable out in your barn that function. All you need is a wireless router. I would recommend Linksys or cisco routers. You can buy one from walmart for about $100. Or order one from newegg.com. From a bunny fan and an IT Professional. I love your content and look forward to watching more videos.
Thank you. I wasn't sure if you can use a cable that essentially comes from one router (in our house) and add a second router to that same network (in the bunny barn). Watch, after all this fuss, the speed won't be enough to do live videos anyhow, LOL. We live in the country and have satellite internet since there are no hard lines down our road.
Who is your satelite network through? You can test your network speed through Ookla speed test. Just google it. Your going to need about 10-15 megabytes per second for decent live upload. Also depending on how long your ethernet cable is you will also have signal degradation after 100 meters. You can however run two or more seperate switches, nodes, routers, or wifi routers off your first router as long as it has an open port.
Hook's Hollands - Ohio Holland Lops 69 Mbps is actually very fast. However if you meant 69 kbps that is very slow or .69 mbps. I hope I helped. I really enjoys your videos. I am looking forward to starting my own rabbitry of my own here in the next year or so. If you have any more IT questions shout me an email. I would be glad to help.

Ridiculous.
You can pick up for free at rabbit shows. If you look at their website, they actually do charge less in increments of 3.
Hook's Hollands - Ohio Holland Lops agreed
What brand do you get your food dishes from I like how they are kinda of square and all the ones I found where very round
As soon as I saw your clean cages I was like "omg this is glorious!" Your barn is so clean and very organized I love it! Oh and your bunnies are beyond cute!!

Savyon Fishman well my bunny always grooms me and never poops outside her litter box
I have one bunny! She is cute and today she slept in a food bowl! She was so funny!
AriannaAri Bunny Lol I have a bunny too
I thought my bun bun was the only one! She loves sleeping in her food bowl
Love your setup😍 and all your bunnies look so friendly and sweet😊 so jealous! Lol

Wow your place for the rabbits is really nice and clean it's wonderful how u take care of the rabbits, they r really lucky.
Thank you! :)
Looks so so good!! And the bunnies look so healthy. A mini fluffy paradise :) x
That's an awesome rabbitry and adorable buns! Love your channel!
Thanks!

Thanks...my hubby says they're not treated. :)
Thank goodness! I love your buns. I wish I wasn't allergic to rabbits, I'd have a houseful.
Nice job! You guys take great care of your bunnies! I’m currently researching bunny care and I hope to adopt one!

I'm so happy someone actualy has good cages! Thank you so much 😂❤
This is pretty much the best model rabbit breeding venture I've seen, who says ethical businesses are impossible?

Thank you very much! We have satellite internet now but from a local company - I like to support local businesses, and they have unlimited data. They are constantly expanding their "GenX" network that is about ten times faster for the same price, but we are still too rural to get a good signal (thinking this might be a different type of signal). For the price, I think I'll stick with my current provider and regular videos, but if our speed increases, I'll look into an extender/repeater of some sort. Thanks again!
I love the new setup! Great job! And the babies are so adorable😊
A great rabbitry - hoping to build a heated, insulted, air conditioned small rabbitry in retirement so have gotten some great ideas.
awww they're so sweet :D i only have one rabbit he is 10 years old! i wanted to change his cage to a condo but his eye sight is really bad because of his age so i think that if i change his space he won't be able to figure out where to go (sometimes he has a hard time even to walk to his cage... he hits walls and furniture... he will hate me if i change his cage)
You're rabbits are so cute and sweet. I love them 💕🐰🐇
Your rabbitry is the best ive ever seen! I have seen rabbitrys where the buns cant even move. I have a holland lop buck that i will be breeding once he reaches proper age. I plan on starting a rabbitry in the future for hollands! I also have 2 rescues and a spayed mini lop!
What sweet bunnies! Reminds me of my bunny, Sunlight, on how sweet and cute he was! :) Also I'm loving the new cages!
This is a very extravagant rabbitry
I am thinking about raising rabbits I just don't know which ones yet I really Love your BUNNIES soooooo AWESOMELY cute thanks for sharing
Thank you :)
Thats totally the type of shelter id want to open!
Can someone please tell me why these bunnies are so cute!!! And those ears my God they're so cute and adorable 😍
That's like a rabbit spa....an alternate business is to turn it into a pet hotel
I love your bunny barn! How do you choose to only get the hard floor in the cages? I don't want carpet😬😳
I called in my order, but I don't recommend that as the website charges cheaper shipping. You can either put your request in the notes or call after your order is placed I suppose.
Awww😍 I have fallen in love with little Luigi.
Since you have a hard line run to your bunny barn you can use either a switch with wireless or a router with wireless. A switch is about $10 on Amazon.
Thanks, Eddy! :)
This is super cool. Love it🐰
Love her videos. I dont know why she gets dislikes on her videos. I guess some people have issues
I am loving these cages!
at 08:42, the orange bunny is like, 'My turn - give me fuss!"
Ugh. I miss my rabbits. I had New Zealands. Once I get my new place, I'm getting New Zealands , Beverens, and French Angoras!
Your cages are amazing!🐇
Wow!! It looks great!
Bunny barn GOALS!
I love you so much and I love rabbits 💕🐇
Asher would have to be my favourite!😻
it's so nice home for Bunny.
is the bunny purring at 8:30??? that's one happy bunn! 😁
Yes, Asher just loves attention! :)
Your bunnies are too cute!
Love your setup!!!
It's hilarious to me that, with any pet who is usually caged, when you open their cage door the first thing they do is stick their head out and look down. It's like "Is the ground still there?! I gotta check!".
I love your video keep up the good work ok
I'm not sure about that but you could get a WiFi box to put in there. We have one on the landing because the WiFi won't reach upstairs.
Thanks. We actually have to wait until we can get faster internet out here in the boonies. It's too slow for live video.
This is beyond amazing. I adore your set up. The whole barn is awesome!
How much did it all cost? (Rough estimate)
Thank you, and um...a LOT! Thousands. Raising bunnies small-scale as a hobby is definitely not a money-making endeavor. :)
Angora rabbits are the only one you can really make money off of without selling the rabbit itself. Their fur is very expensive so you can get money out of it. It’s good since if you don’t cut off the hair it will become matted. So there is no point in not selling it when you HAVE to cut the fur.
That’s true but it’s a lot of work taking care of there fur brushing it so it doesn’t get matted and of course cut it to sell too
I am unsuccessfully trying to litter train my 4 month old lol
Lol what my dad did was just lock my rabbit up in the cage and she somehow figured it out.......
it helps 99% if you spay and neuter them!
Do the rabbits cages ever smell bad because of their pee? I'm looking into getting a holland lop but I'm afraid it might make my room smell (causing the bunny to go to the garage).
If you keep the cage clean (changing the litter or bedding every few days), there's barely any smell in my experience.
Love your cages!!
your bunnies are so so so so cute and i am not joking
Beautiful!!
My original comment follows:
You've probably got your answer to the wi-fi question by now, but here are my 2 cents:
A wi-fi extender would probably work fine.
Rabbits can go up heights stairs?
PS: your rabbits are soooo cuute 😍😍
Hello i'm from belgium next to the netherlands i have some nhd rabbits and im going to have litter this week ! I'm verry excited ! i have now 14 rabbits dwarfs and nhd's .If you want i can let you know if the babies are born well! sorry for bad englisch !
I really like your bunnys
This is well and truly amazing ❤️ sml and cuteness
I feel like not having wire flooring is good, because the babies could possibly get their feet stuck. Witch do you like better?
Wire is definitely faster to clean, but solid floor is probably a lot more comfortable for the bunnies, so that's why I invested in the new cages.
Thank you. I have no clue about networks, but I do just want to use my Droid phone over WiFi (if it's fast enough) to broadcast live videos.
Hook's Hollands - Ohio Holland Lops You're very welcome.
That's so pretty I adore it !! And my mom bunny had another litter of 5
Now she has 8 babies!! They are so adorable but we have to separate the dad and is it true if that bunnies can breed through the cage or no cause i heard that we have to put the dad in a cage to see the mom.
just like mickey Ds, im lovin it
Wow you have a lot of bunnies I only have one
Timmy Tim Tim da bunsie💝
Where did you get mables litter boxes and the cages? Love this set up! This is the first time I’ve seen a bunny breeder care properly for them! ❤️
good job!
What temperature is good for baby rabbits and what temperature is too cold /hot for them? I just lose 4 bunnies this week I don’t want to lose the 2 I have left , that was way too painful
What age do you start feeding the Sherwood Adult? Your bunnies are so cute! 😍🐰
do you make your cages? and did you make the barn from an old small house?
Love your bunny barn set-up, lucky bunnies! Would you be able to put a link on where you get your bunny accessories from like the feeders and water dispenser? We love your lock-on feeder.
Sure, I have a page on my site with info on the products I use: www.ohiohollandlops.com/bunny-care.html
Thanks heaps!
Making me want to start a rabbitry again
i like your radio
Um, thanks. :) Garage sale purchase!
How did you secure the 3rd level cages? The KW site doesn't look like they sell top single cages that stack on villas.
I had the single Villas made without bottom wheels so they stack well on the double Villas. I also use three bungee straps to secure the top Villa and have never had problems with them moving.
Cute! what do you do with the babies? that aren't fat do u hand feed them?
The mothers always feed them, or I have fostered to another mom on occasion.
Hook's Hollands - Ohio Holland Lops thanks so I shouldn't worry about the small babies my rabbit had should I keep an eye on them?
Is there a significant reason you decided to change the cages? The ones before were much easier to clean right?
Totally - this decision was made completely for the bunnies' happiness and health. It makes a LOT more work for me, but they have solid floor cages, more room, and it opens up the barn for a larger exercise area. Plus, the babies should be well on their way to being litter trained when they go to their new homes.
Hook's Hollands - Ohio Holland Lops That's really admirable, its very rare to find breeders that care so much about the happiness of their animals. The place where I got my lops and Netherlands dwarfs was horrific. She had them all in a dark shed with no air conditioning in the middle of summer, and it looked like she hadn't picked up the feces in several weeks (NOT AN EXAGGERATION) I'm having horrible flashbacks thinking about it now, this was a whole 6 years ago 😖
We bought two Netherlands dwarfs and felt so bad for the rabbits that we went back to buy two holland lops.
I just wanted to know if you sell the babies and where. I've always wanted one of ur Holland lops
My holland lip doesn’t have that floofe of fur on the back of his head. Does that mean he hasn’t been bred properly?
Looks fantastic, I just hope every bunny has something soft to lay on to avoid sore hocks. ❤
These are solid floor cages, so their weight is evenly distributed without the pressure points created by wire floors. But yes, once litter trained, they earn their fleece pillows and resting mats. :)
Why water bottles, why not bowls? Also, I love the cages and at 6:39 did I hear a rabbit purr?
Bowls get filled with fur throughout the day, and bunnies certainly don't need to be ingesting more fur that could lead to stasis. Even when cleaned daily, the bowls get messy with fur (and hay and whatever else the bunnies like to drop in them). The bottles provide fur-free water, and the bunnies can even press their mouth against the ball bearing and let it drip out into their mouths. Easy peasy.
What materials did you use in the bunny bath? The iron bathroom
Well, I just did a speed test, and it's waaay too slow for a live upload (.69Mbps). Bummer. Thanks so much for your help though!
It was .69Mbps (with a decimal). That's really slow I think. :(
Love the cages. Where we can buy those thanks
KW Cages
Where did you the cages from?:)
I'm looking for them very long.
Thank you very much
Diana❤
They came from KW Cages. I'll add the link to the description shortly.
