Amazing song, seriously love the lyrics. I always took the lyrics from the perspective of someone with hope but dwelling on their current time. This passage here shows me that despite their situation they are hoping for a way out. At the time, Mi-Ya, who was the support guitarist, had just changed her name to Miyako and joined the band as a full member.
Hallelujah brothers ! At last the revelation that Lovebites sound like Lovebites 👏👏👏 . TBF - you weren't alone almost every reactor feels the need to compare them with some other band - something I've never understood 🤷♂ as their sound is SO distinctive , that and the fact that the vast majority of bands can only dream of having the musical ability to play anything like as well as these ladies . Anyway , thank you for honesty - it's much appreciated . BTW - as with all Lovebites songs the LIVE versions are so much better ( and readily available on TH-cam - very often with subtitles ) 🤘🤘🤘

Lovebites metal covers the whole genre of heavy metal, and as your journey continues, you are now hearing how they fuse so many different styles into something different. You are not alone in not understanding every word, but that's something that happens in most music, of course the accent can make it more difficult, but it also gives it that little extra something, 🤘🎤🎹🎸🥁🐺
Is is said that this song is one of the Bands favorites to play at live shows. I know from the first live video to the latest, they have tweaked the intro and perfected the stage performance and this song gets better each year they do live shows. Awesome song!!!
