Im head over heels in love with everything about him… have you seen him in Lapland? such a different bloke ! makes you wanna hug him the poor henpecked bastard by Julie Graham !!!
My daughters watched this a few years ago, aged about 13 and 14 and they cried at the terrible racism. I told them i was an 80s kid and this actually went on. I think Sean is a star when he said “ I don’t think I can say that “ .. bless him.
Who new how right they were now we have domestic terrorisme, places where white peoples even police can’t go is disgusting , if only you people in uk had stopped it then
Stephen Graham is actually just unbelievable. I’ve never seen him do a bad job, every performance he has given has been incredible. Don’t get me wrong, everyone in This is England did an incredible job, but Stephen is just on another level. Absolute british legend
Stephen Graham is a genius. Phenomenal passion grit and the ability to convey such intense emotion so effortlessly. Im mixed race in America and I've been told in 2020 to go back to where I'm from even though I was born here.
I love the fact even though Stephen had minor success he was still struggling and was able to be available to do this and I feel this definitely definitely definitely elevated him to a new plateau can you imagine how Stephen graham not being available to film if he had been busy doing other projects can you imagine what a different film this would have been, they all individually being something completely unique and relevant to the story corr gave me goosebumps watching this superb acting even Sean you’d have thought he’s of been doing it his whole childhood not just a random kid off the street
Stephen graham is a phenomenal actor, Shane meadows is a fantastic director, all the others, amazing actors and actresses, tomo just looks like Pickford
@@emmam1387 wdym? I just listed a few examples coz I’d be here all night if I listed everyone hence the ‘whatever’. Everyone deserves rights (except rapists, pedos and people who cause harm on that level if that makes sense)
@@booklover8546 you do, i can tell, haha. but of course you can't call chinese and gypsy a skin color-- and some gypsies like to be called 'travellers' because they may find gypsy offensive. but all in good terms 👍
@@emmam1387 ahaha yeah it’s a struggle. My grandad was a traveller so that’s why I included them coz I feel like they don’t get mentioned enough and I forgot about the ‘gypsy’ thing ahaha and yeah I included Chinese just as a group x
@@willb1405 i appreciate that the 'left have ruined everything' narrative is both convenient and fun for many but it rarely stacks up to facts and truth. The antagonists in this film are all far right. The language is used to show the reality of the times back then. There would be no difference if this film was made today. The film was made to strongly critique the racist infiltration of the previously benign and multicultured skinhead subculture, and show how easily vulnerable young people can be radicalised into racist beliefs.
Stephen Graham, what a British legend. Sheer class.
Stephen is a true and utter professional one of the true greats in our society

Funny how the subtle changes in the script have made the scenes flow better. Brilliant film.
The soundtrack was an essential part of the tone of this masterpiece.

true. i used it as a kid without knowing it was offensive. it was commonly used without even meaning to be insulting

"I don't think i can say that cos it's really nasty"
What a gem
Improvements happening slowly

It's funny because the person that said that to you, their ancestors aren't even from America! Probably came on a boat
One of the best films i've ever seen. Brilliant writing and acting.
Stephen Graham is probably one of the countries best actors. Classic British film
really interesting to see the thought behind these scenes. It comes through so well

Stephen Graham. He's a magician.
This is the show which launched his career and what a fucking brilliant start,
The most realistic and true to life skinhead film ever to be made about the uk.
Stephen Graham is a phenomenal actor
Genial! Gracias por subir el vídeo.

Stephen Graham my god. One of a kind.
Hats off to Stephen, he's a cracking actor! Marries to Trudy/trudie in real life.
i'm so confused at the combos flat bit, they must have changed it a lot from what they were talking about there
Stephen Graham can act his socks off… reminds me of Joe Pesci when he gets into maniac mode💯😉
Combo really loved lol.
Stephen Graham is possibly up there with Brando and Read, they just disappear into what character they bring alive
It would of been funny if combo pulled a spoon out during rehearsal or magic wand
This is very interesting
Stephen Graham Graham is brillant
Meggy calling Sean "Thommo". Ha!
So horrible isn’t it. No matter what you are, what your skin colour is, Chinese, black, gypsy, whatever, we all deserve rights ❤ amazing acting ❤️

These are tough scripts for producers to get across. Jeez
Shane meadow dead man's shoes and made of stone lucky boro fc liveforever 🎉
just acting
It be a different film now with these lefty wokey do gooders 😂
not really, the whole point is to show racism as completely unacceptable which if anything is pretty in line with progressive values
