I know Jim Carrey so well I watched everything he’s ever done every film, interview every talk show etc. it doesn’t take a genius to know that he’s uncomfortable he just wants to hurry up and answer these stupid questions and get the fuck out. Lol. The interviewer is just doing his job he’s just corny he’s to PC.
What do you mean, he's just stopped caring what people think and embraced his philosophy. He still has all those traits, he just finds it funny how we all care about others personalities if you know what i mean. And he's right,it's stupid spending time wishing someone else was the way we want them to be. spend time on yourself! that's why he seems sorta 'rude' in recent interviews. He just finds life funny,like the way we all spend time thinking or watching famous people, it's very strange. We're kind of like pawns or drones going through life. that's how he sees it.

It's a type of escapism. And Jim has entertained and fascinated billions with his unique talent for making people laugh. And it was HIS choice to impose himself on us all through entertainment channels such as stand up comedy, radio and in movies - some of which hit box office records. And now after all that, he wants to call that strange, stupid and to be rude towards people about it all? The guy is deranged.

Also he sees it as strange i would think because he doesn't understand why watch if you can do in other words don't imagine being someone successful,go and try to be. I say this because a lot of people are cynical and have great pain and regret about having monotonous lifes and that's what he sees. he doesn't see the people watching it for fun like you and me, just the ones that are negative. It's like you having people say things about you, for example 10 people 8 of them say something good 2 says something bad you will think about the few negative comment rather than the positive ones. Just like you focus on the negative parts of not having the old jim carrey, it's a human trait embedded in us to constantly improve our lives. If you focused on the positives more you wouldn't improve or have a want to improve and that's why there aren't to many successful people because we are told to only focus on the positives and to appreciate what we have so we see things as good or great so there isn't an incentive to better ourselves. successful people are the ones that see life as what they want it to be and chase what they want if you understand. Anyway i'll shut up, just be glad we had the jim carrey character for a time.
