    Very helpful content. Could you please create a video for a non e-commerce website. You had mentioned that websites might use lead forms/blogs/articles. It would be really helpful to know what metrics might be relevant for such websites

    Hi, I'm trying to build the report. At timestamp 10:20, you bring in a field 'USER CONVERSION RATE.' This field does not show up in my Looker Studio. Do you know how to fix this?

    • @apothecamarketing
      @apothecamarketing  วันที่ผ่านมา

      If it hasn't been defined in your reporting, you can create a calculated field. If you click on the metric box, at the bottom there is an option for "add calculated field". You can just create your formula there (e.g., transactions/users).

    Hi, thank you for this video. I have a question. Will this dashboard update in real time by itself? So in a weeks time, will one then see the current relevant data?

    • @apothecamarketing
      @apothecamarketing  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It will pull in all historical data as soon as you create it (if that data exists in your data source, such as GA4). You can control the date range of the report and the individual charts, so it updates based on the range that you provide. Keep in mind, however, that GA4 is typically 24 hours behind in its reporting.

    Hello :) Thank you for a helpful content :) Do you know why average position in Looker Studio isn't the same as in Google Search Console?

    • @apothecamarketing
      @apothecamarketing  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It depends on how you're pulling that data into Looker Studio. If you're using the data connector for GSC, then it should be the same if you're looking at the same dates. However, if you're pulling the data from GA4, there is often latency in the reporting by at least 24 hours. Some other factors that could impact this are: date ranges, filters or segmentation.

    Hi, I would like to set revenue conversion tracking in Google Analytics to my e-commerce website. I am unable to setup it. Could you please share some inputs Thanks for this video!

    • @apothecamarketing
      @apothecamarketing  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      How conversion tracking gets set up is really based on the platform that you're using. For instance, if you have a Shopify site, you can use the Google & TH-cam app to send shopping cart and purchase data to GA4. For other platforms, you'll need to implement a data layer that sends that information to GTM and GA4 via javascript. Let me know what platform you're using, and we can look at doing a video for that.

    • @apothecamarketing

      It's difficult to say without seeing your report, but you may need to ensure that there's not another report-wide or dashboard controller or setting that is overriding your filter.

    I always point out that bounce rate is just the opposite of engagement rate. It’s the opposite side of the same coin.

    • @apothecamarketing
      @apothecamarketing  หลายเดือนก่อน

      We like to look at engagement rate because the default Users metric in your GA4 traffic reporting is actually Engaged Users, not Total Users. Initially bounce rate wasn't available in GA4, but they brought it back, probably after a lot of complaints.

    thank you for this great video. One question. We have GA4 since July 2023, and universal analytics before that. And I believe this is what most people setup currently is. I wanna look at the year over year changes for all the metrics you showed. I do have both GA4 and universal analytics loaded on Looker Studio. How can I do this?

    • @apothecamarketing
      @apothecamarketing  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Great question. One thing to consider before doing this is that the metrics will not be exactly the same in Universal as they are in GA4, since GA4 fundamentally redefined how things like sessions, users, conversions, etc., are recorded (th-cam.com/video/zDyzPFCvwEQ/w-d-xo.html). You can pull in your historic data from UA, and then create two different data sources and cards/graphs in Looker. You could then blend that data to create a unified report. We'll look at doing a video to walk through this, since I'm sure other people are having this issue as well.

    Good evening, I have a question for our honorable professor. Is it possible, through Looker Studio, that I can enter data into a table as is the case in an Excel sheet? I have another question: Can I hide the Google Sheet file menus and toolbar from the user when entering data and he cannot show the menus such as the File, Edit, or Format menu? Thank you and we apologize for the length

    • @apothecamarketing
      @apothecamarketing  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can connect your Looker Studio dashboard directly to a Google Sheet, so that when someone adds data it is reflected in your dashboard, The only input option directly in a dashboard is an input box, which essentially acts as a search box. I imagine that you could accomplish this data entry by using a Google Form, which would feed the data points directly to your Sheet without giving the user access to the spreadsheet.

    Hi. Can you explain how to create a chart that shows your impressions in various cities? Currently I have a chart that breaks down views, bounce rate, and engagement rate of various cities in California. However, when I try to add "organic Google search impressions" as a metric the chart breaks. Do I have to blend data? And if so, can you explain how to do that?

    • @apothecamarketing
      @apothecamarketing  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Impressions data, which comes from Google Search Console only reports on metrics by country. Theoretically, you'll need to blend User geo location from GA4 with impression data from GSC. I haven't tried this myself, so it may not work. We'll look at doing a video about this since I'm sure it would be useful for other folks as well.

      It is frustrating, because some metrics that are available in GA4, are not available in Looker. We'll take a look and see if we can figure this out for a video.
